Best of all time is playing TE in Atlanta and still getting it done.

NY scored 31 points, on the road, after turning the ball over 6 times, including a first and goal on the 1 after a Dallas turnover early in the game. What weapons? Victor Cruz ring a bell? Hakeem Nicks, their TE Myers was good for god awful Oakland last year, and Randle is a good 3rd receiver. Eli put up 450 yards and 4 TDs last week in a BAD game. If the depleted Ravens can score 27 in Denver in an revenge game, NY can score 31 on the road with 6 turnovers, you do not think NY can put up at least 27 at home?

I agree the Pats have been declining for several years. Bill is supposed to be a defensive genius but how many years are they in to rebuilding now, 5 or 6 years? They had a great run, and still have an easy road to the AFC championship game due to a weak division. They should go 5-1 or 6-0 in the division, have a 1st round bye, win their first playoff game at home and bam they are in the AFC championship game again. Rinse and repeat. Division games are always tough, but the AFC east might be the worst division in football this year. Just like Dallas, their lines are usually inflated due to being the current "America's Team"

If there is one thing I have learned betting the NFL, is to not over react from early season games. I like the NYG here with the points. The broncos were looking towards that game all off season, and the bookies should have had that line at -14, but could not with the Ravens being the defending champs. Baltimore is not going to be a good team this year. Do you expect Peyton to throw another 7 TD's back to back, and on the road? I do not expect a Coughlin coached team to have back to back bad turnover type games. He is a disciplinarian and will have those guys mentally ready for this game. Even with all of that Eli still put up big passing numbers overall. , and NY still could have won that game. I could care less about the NYG RB situation, they have not been a running team in years, and I think Jacobs will shut up and play his role this year, which includes pass blocking. I think the over is a good bet here as well. I expect NY to play well in their home opener, with their backs against the wall. Just my two cents... |

I am thinking of putting together a 2 team ML parlay of Rice and Bama. With Rice a huge play for you at -2, I have to like that as a ML bet. I personally do not like betting against Saban on a revenge angle and think they probably destroy Bama.
Thoughts?

Keep up the good work JD. Love your insights. I have been busy and have not bet this football season, but of course have been hitting like crazy on my leans. Funny how when you don't bet you hit a crazy number smh.
I wanted to contribute in a game I probably will bet pretty large: Nevada @ FSU. I have followed Nevada for a long time. I watched them play @ UCLA and this is a very young and low skilled team this year. The QB is good for Nevada, but he does not have much around him for skill positions this year. They have no team speed, even for their level. The O Line lost 3 starters and lost/kicked off more guys in the summer so the depth is not there, which used to be a strong suit and allowed their running game to be very good in years past. The defense has never been good. FSU will dominate 1 of the 2 halves if not both. I am going big on the 1st half, and if for some reason Nevada hangs around (prob due to FSU not taking them seriously) then I will pound the FSU 2nd half. Keep up the great work.

Fresno has been playing much better in the second half of conference.
10 points on a neutral floor is too much....

Could not disagree more, respectfully of course. UNLV always struggles v Air Force and their style of play. This unlv team is a young, no chemistry or coaching, and are frauds. They should have lost several other games at home this year. The bookies fucked them at -10.5 that Air Force money line might hit.
Air Force Fresno Boise All day...

Minn would have blown UNLV out if their QB had any accuracy as he overthrew 4 open WRs that would have been TDs...

Oahu, Take a breath and do some research. Eastern Washington is a FCS powerhouse, who won the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in 2010. The also beat Idaho at Idaho 20-3 to start the season this year. Eastern also plays in the big sky, which has had teams beat UNLV at home the last two years. Here in LV, people are calling for Hauck to be fired, and saying UNLV would have been better off keeping Sanford (who they HATED). There is no reason to bet UNLV at this point. I would lean on the under with the Wazzou QB being out. |

Wow. What a difference Beanie Wells makes for the cards. Flacco is fucking terrible and needs to be benched.
Congrats AZ backers! |

Big Cards fan here, and news flash, WE SUCK! I cannot believe that the head coach and GM are not on the hot seat. The only good thing we have had going this year was Beanie Wells and he is out. Kolb will get sacked at least 4 times, will throw 2 picks, and at least one of those will go for a pick 6. Earlier this year after the Ravens had their letdown game v. Tennessee, the next week they won at STL 37-7. This game they are at home. Cards are one of the WORST teams in football going west to east for an early game. It is amazing that there are teams in the NFL worse that AZ right now...

I think this line is off, this game should be around 7. Seattle's run defense is best in the league with giving up only 3.1 yards per rush. SF is 5th and Cle is 8th. Cle def is also first in the league in passing yards allowed per game. Cle only lost by 7 at Oakland a few weeks ago. I like Cle chances of keeping this under ten points over SF's chances of winning by more than 10.

You are an idiot.
Fox told them to foul, the players did not listen. Fox is one of the best recruiters out there. He has been apart of a sweet 16 team, has been to the tournament 3 times, won 74% of his games, and recruited and coached more pros at a Mid Major than Georgia has produced in the past 10-20 years. In his first year at Georgia they beat three top 25 teams, and lead the conference in free throw percentage, field goal percentage, and assists with the previous staffs players, which went 3-15 to finish their season before Fox got there. Florida his a hail mary 3 to send the game in double OT otherwise you would have won or at least pushed. Quit your bitching and act like you own a pair. |
