Also if you want to lose weight and lose it for good you can't diet for two weeks and then go back to how you ate before the diet. It has to become a lifestyle not just a two week diet cause when you stop the diet the weight lost will be put right back on.

I went to school for dietetics. Studies have shown the best way to lose weight and lose it for good is to lose 1 to 2 pound per week. The best way to lose weight is your diet and exercise. Both are needed. General ideas would be to decrease the amount of fatty foods you eat and increase fruits and veggies. Increase exercise. I'd say exercise an hr 4 times a week. It can be as simple as going for a walk or jog. You don't have to lift heavy weights. I would also keep measurements around waist/hips cause she may not lose much in terms of pounds but her body may become more tone and clothes will fit better. That's when you know you are losing fat

Not here to argue with anyone. I went to school for nutrition. I graduated about a year ago so things may have changed but I took many classes where we looked at journal articles that go through many peer reviews and there is very little proof that organic is better or more healthy than non organic. Unfortunately not much research/data has been collected to determine one way or another. One thing to keep in mind is where the info. comes from. This is an article from prevention magazine. They may or may not have a hidden agenda. Not saying they do, I don't have time to research that mag, but my point is with nutrition take everything with a grain of salt. Be critical of everything you read (not cynical) and come to your own educated conclusion. If you feel more comfortable and are ok paying a little more for foods that are organic then by all means do what you want. I see no problem with that. So I wouldn't say organic foods are a hoax but to my knowledge there isn't much credible research that supports it.

Numbers and the price of things don't really tell the whole story. How bout the Dow Jones (or do you think the president have nothing to do with that) because when Bush took over as president it was just over 10,000. When his presidency was over it was 8281 not to mention the major tax cuts he made are still effective until Dec 2012. Now I agree it seems as tho Obama hasn't really done anything. But whatever I'm with Hutch and Ktrain. Until both sides can get along this mess will not be cleaned up and we well continue to get fucked no matter if its Dem or Rep in office.

Randle was not filling in for crick. Randle was the 4th DT behind stein Rome and Moore. So it hurts depth but he was not cricks

Oh and if you have watched Wilson play, he is a good QB but he always throws the ball high. He did in the ACC and he continues to in the Big10. If you think Bo and Carl havnt noticed this you are crazy. Stafford and Dennard will be looking to hammer someone and get picks.
Best of luck guys. |

This will be a very tough game for Neb. Going to Wisc will be tough but we seem to play very well on the road. With that said we can definitely win this game. The defense will have to get its head out of its ass and we can't turn the ball over. I am guessing 35 to 31 either way. My bias says take the alma mater, my gut says take em, and my head says take em. BUT... never bet on your team. I am going to be pissed if we lose. Ill be doubly pissed if we lose and I lose money.

Gambler 315, I am waiting for your "more detail". I really like the horse races and am always looking for ways to improve my horse capping ability which is limited. Another reason why younger people don't get into horse racing is because at least here in Nebraska it is dying. The track in Lincoln only has 1 more year to run and if no one builds another track it will be done. The state of Nebraska is so conservative anything fun such as drinking or gambling is like the devil.

Not sure what there is to do in your town but I like taking a girl to places that are fun and where you can talk but also ok if there comes a point in time with no conversation. So I mean like a bar that has a band playing or in my small city there is an amateur hockey team. Its cheap (8 bux a ticket and 4 dollar 23oz. beers) and fun as hell.

I may be moving to Syracuse to go to grad school. I was just wondering if someone could tell me what Syracuse is like. Also, where is a good place to live that is reasonable priced (remember I am a student). Anything would be helpful.
Thanks |

I am done with this cause i don't really give a shit about what others think of nebraska. im not sure what you mean be if he was coaching middle school football then ok. I said it was dumb of him to freak out they way he did. im sorry that im the type of person that can understand why he does something even if it is stupid. That doesn't mean I think its right. I would say you know absolutely nothing about nebraska football if you think all he did was focus on the texas loss all off season. Thanks for the laugh. A few bad fans may have focused on it all off season but not the team.

Ok ill take the bait. Go and watch the replay of last nights game and tell me several of those calls were not bullshit. If you read everything Pelini says then you would know he says that some of the calls were bs but we played like shit on offense and didnt execute. You comment about half of them being iffy but that still leaves 8. Well 4 of the iffy ones gave a and m 6 points and the other one they threw but then picked up would have given neb first down and goal at the 4. And im not sure if that was pi or not, most likely not, but how you throw a flag thinking it was pi then waving off the flag is unreal. The only time that happens is if the ball is uncatchable. Now him freaking out on the sideline is dumb but im not mad about it because I was also freaking out as I watched the game. It is human nature to do that when you arnt getting explanations on the calls being made. Hes a young coach and Osborne and Perlman already said they were mad about his actions. He will b fine once we got out of the shitty big 12 and as he grows as a coach.
Either way the game ended the way it did aided a little by the refs and mostly by the piss poor play by the neb offense. |

Im watching this shit fest. One of the worst games I have ever seen and I watch nebraska play basketball so that should say something. I would guess it doesnt go over but this is one of those games where you never know whats going to happen. Wake is only using 8 scholarship players and hampton shot like 20% I think. Neither team is running and neither has any set offense. They just kind of go down the court and throw up a shot

Wow, some of the responses on here are unreal. So these kids are racist, want mexicans "erased from their landscape", and "dont care about their education which speaks volumes about them" just because of what they did. This may be a little hard for some people to do but how about we think back when we all were in high school. The kids are immature, smart asses. Im not saying what they did was right or wrong but lighten up a little and realize it was just a stupid prank. I hardly ever post on here but this was unreal to me. Maybe I need to read the news story about this because some of the posts on here are crazy. Im not trying to piss anyone off but maybe lighten up a little. |
