Purely playing the Line here. Also taking into account TB has won the last 2 meetings one of which as a 6.5 dog.
The trap has been set ! TB +165 When cincy loses (even to bad teams) they lose big so take a TB -7.5 for a real payday if you can find it.

Ironically enough in St. Louis, tickets cost next to nothing and they do dollar beers and dogs and still no one shows up.. atleast that's what they said on TV

How are the Raiders gonna score ?? This isn't a let down spot or a look ahead spot for the Chiefs like everyone thinks.. Could be a slow start on the road but an eventual Chiefs victory in an easy money winner !

I would play blackjack before I bet this game. However due to the random nature of these two teams. If I were forced to make a play on this game, I would buy NYG to -7 and say a prayer.

Did everyone not just see the Patriots in prime time at home and win by 26 points against a better team coming off a bye? I would like to hear from the Jets backers on why this game will not be a 30 point blowout? Patriots averaging 40 points over the last 2 games and made it look easy in both. Jets are worse than their last 2 opponents. The jets are going to need about 24-30 points to cover this spread. Does anyone see Geno smith doing that in the pouring down rain? No, the obvious choice is Patriots -9.5. Click here and scroll down to post #23 https://www.covers.com/postingforum/post01/showmessage.aspx?spt=65&sub=101960651 I told you why NE would beat Cincinnati and it had absolutely nothing to do with who was the better team. As soon as NE scored that quick opening TD, I knew exactly how that game was going to play out, and made an in-running bet of NE ML -136. Considering the Broncos v Jets, if you erase that garbage time late Pick-6, the Jets would have only lost by 7 and covered (I had the Jets :/). At this point in the season, the Broncos are playing considerably better overall as a team than the Patriots. The patriots have been inconsistent and seemingly lucky to win against even the Raiders. The rain favors the Jets. While it hasn't shown much this year, they are the team that base themselves on running the ball and power defense. The Patriots have SIGNIFICANT injuries to players lost in the game against Buffalo last week. This year the Jets have shown up most impressively against Green Bay and the Patriots have NOT SHOWN UP more often than not this year. Rex Ryan's job is also said to be on the line this game. The matchup has also gone OVER 8-1-1 with the one under game very sloppily played. More often than not, the Jets show up vs the Patriots. I dont care what the weather is. Especially w/ the NE injuries. Over is the NUTS Jets win this game (+400) or easily keep it within 2 scores!

Everyone and their mother will be on Cinci. I too am tempted to pour a glass of the Cincy kool aid but at the end of the day Vegas is here to take our money and not to give us "gifts." Waiting for a reverse line movement to seal the deal before really firing ! NEW ENGLAND

The Ravens are the play here. The oddsmakers put the line to get even action on both sides and 3.5 is the number that accomplishes this purpose. The Ravens have played well ALL season as well as in the preseason. The Colts on the other hand haven't been clicking in the preseason or the first game against the almighty manning. We know it's the Almighty Manning but Luck usually has his number.
Anyway, this game at worst will be close (take the dog) or I see how the Colts could fall behind or even collapse this game. I like the Ravens. +3.5 is a pretty good number for this game. Also like the Money line +165 and teaser.

Despite beating Pit last week, Tampa Bay in my eyes is still the worst team in Football. I'm on first half NO and Over

I too believe some NFL games to be fixed.
I don't believe it to be every single game but the chances are higher on a prime time game. I originally like Car when I first saw the line but at that point it seemed the public was heavy on Carolina since they just beat SF so I figured I'd take the pats. Before the game, the Mnf guys all give their picks. The majority of the picks went on NE and I was like F*ck I'm screwed. It doesn't help that the refs made a controversial call at the end but I accept my loss because I didn't expect this game to be close at all. All I can do now is go against the public the next Pat game... |

Yes.. If you show up at an audition, it will be obvious the second you pick up the deck if this is your first rodeo or your 1,000th but once you've gotten through that, a second audition-er will ask you where you've worked and then how good of a dealer you are will be irrelevant. You're better off saying you're a chip or food runner in a casino then a dealer of underground games. #1 underground games are illegal. #2 Your dealing at an underground game can not be verified.

The Refs will GIVE this game to Miami as they have blatantly done recently to keep series going and make more money in ticket sales and TV time.

No that is not true. You need to be able to pass an audition. That's it. Whether you went to school or not is not required although I'm sure it's encouraged. The number 1 thing Vegas casinos look for is experience. A dealer straight out of school or w/ no experience will go to the bottom of the list.
Getting a poker dealing job is difficult because the supply of positions is way down and the number of dealers w/ 2+ years experience and laid off is way up. That is going to be your biggest hurdle.. getting ahead of these dealers. As a dealer w/ no experience you will likely have to put in your time at a shit hole card room for a year or 2 before dealing somewhere where players actually tip. As a poker player in a card room and nothing else you are likely unaware of what really goes on behind the scenes in these poker rooms and I'm talking about most of the bigger ones. Card room managers are known to only hire their friends. They are known to accept bribes for jobs. They act as if they are gods over other peoples lives w/ things such as the schedule. If they feel like fucking w/ you.. you will be on graveyard or a shift w/ no games. You can be fired pretty much at any time. Dealing poker is a good job financially but it's not all it's cracked up to be. Working in a casino, you work w/ degenerate alcoholics, drug addicts, uneducated ppl, and this wears down on you. It's a very negative environment to be around such depressing people. You also get a lot of verbal abuse from the players as well as YOUR COWORKERS!! This too wears on you. You will be in a world where no one cares about you. But the money for what you do is very good. I'll attest to that. Best of Luck! |

Here is the TRUTH about playing poker SERIOUSLY... and this comes from someone (me) that played for a living 2004-2005.
Don't even try to get started unless you LOVE the game and you enjoy sitting at a table for 8 hrs or more at a time several times a week. For the amount of hours that you are required to put in you will be making less than minimum wage. I'm up some $13,000 but 13k over 2 years is not even 40% of min wage over that same time. I have yet to make any positive money betting sports but it is something I enjoy doing. You will be wasting your time struggling to break even over the long run.. so don't do it as a job but something you enjoy doing. Good Luck. |

The Hawks are the epitome of inconsistent. Lose by 30 one day win by 30 the next. Flip a coin on this one or take a blind shot on the money line.

well the line could be low due to the clipps away record which is a main factor in deciding a line. So small to medium bet for me on the Clipps who seem to be for real.
