Just relax and go back and ACTUALLY READ the ENTIRE POST. As a PAT fan, you don't appear too confident in your team against the lowly JAGUARS. don't be a fair weather fan, take ya PATS and enjoy the holidays, because if your don't you'll be kicking yourself in the rear and that infused Egg Nog wont taste as good Aloha bigbluephantom Yes Iam a Pats fan and yes I did read your whole post. I wasn't trying o be defensive about your post, just simply saying that, maybe in the beginning we were get hammered but losing by 7 doesn't qualify as a beat down. As for having confidence in my team, I have a lot of confidence they will win, but a wise man once said bet smart not with your heart. If I didn't have to cover a point spread in order to win money I would be rich, however that's not the case. Being that its so late in the season it's hard to tell what teams will still be playing all out and what teams are content with where they stand in the playoff race. On paper Brady and Co. should beat Jax by 3 TD's, and I'm hoping that happens in real life. Didn't mean to sound defensive, glad we on the same page, and happy holidays to you and yours. Alohas

I told a buddy of mine that both NE & GB generally are favorites by touchdown or more in most cases. Neither does well when favored by double digits. NE is 12-16, 13-19 if you include the post season since 2007 when favored by double digits. The fact that NE is double digit favored is more of an indictment on how bad JAC has been. They're 1-6 at home and have giving up an average of 26 points. If you simply focus on the games where they've played against potential post season, that jumps to 32 points. With all this data, it's clear to me that you MUST take NE . All but 4 of the games I mentioned were at home. They're 3-1 on the road when favored by double digits. YES JAC is that bad. There was talk about MJD playing but he's officially been ruled out.
They got beat by 7 at home, I dont quite call that a beat down. They may have been getting beat down in the begining, but as soon as they started clicking San Fran couldnt do nothing but hang for the ride. Now the question is, does N.E., go to Jacksonville and play the way they did the second half of the Niners game or do they just decide to just play and get by. No one can say they know what Brady and company will do, cause if anyone knew we would be rich, Im hoping the line will drop a little and then Ill probably jump on them, its a hard decision especially because Im a Pats fan. |

Thats a lot of points being given by a LA team that has been struggling this season. The possible return of Gasol tonight could be what this team needs to possibly cover this line, however the Bobcats is not the same team as last year and can actually play with the big boys and possibly cover this line. On paper the Lakers are the better team, but on the court they cant seem to play up to it. Taking LA small, and hoping they get their groove back, and thats hard for me to do cause I do not like LA but I cant bet on the Bobcats. |

Im a Heat fan and Ive been let down a few times by them this year, especially in games where they should've blown the other team out. I like that the T-Wolves have some key injuries, and may put down some money on the Heat today, hoping they play like I know they're capable of and rout them.
