I would like some help please. Has anyone visited and made any sports bets either in New Jersey or Delaware sportsbook? 1) If you have, does the sportsbook take any money from your winnings? 2) I'am curious to know how much of a % they keep for themselves on your winnings? 3) Or is it 0% like Las Vegas, meaning they dont deduct at all from your winnings. 4) In Las Vegas, assume you bet $110 to win $100, if you win you get a total of $210 paid to you, but some sportsbooks charge a tax % on your winnings, that is immediately deducted when money is paid back to you, from your winning ticket. Regardless if you win $5, $50 or $500, when a sportsbook has a tax winning deduction, it is immediately pulled out from your winnings. Some taxes on this can range from as little as 3% to 9%. I need to know if it is worth going there in person to make bets, if they charge a tax on winnings, then I will not go there at all. Thank you |

Are either New Jersey or Delaware taking a taking a % on winning sports betting tickets? If so, how much of a % do they take on winning sports bets?
Example of normal placed bet: Assume I make a straight bet (-110) of $110 to win $100, normally to cash this ticket out, I would collect $210 back to me. ($110 + $100 = $210)
Example of withheld tax bet: But lets say that there is a 4% withholding amount on winning tickets. Then I would be collecting ($110 + $96 = $206), that extra $4 would be withheld by the sportsbook since my "winnings" are 4% taxed. |

Because call on the field was ruled inbounds, it would then require an absolute certain overturn to reverse the call. So when booth reviewed the sidelines footsteps, it was unable to determine witn certainty and 100% positive visual evidence that whether he was indeed in or out of bounds, and with the fact, that the game was already decided and won by Tennessee, at that point it was irrelevant on determing the outcome of who would win the game. If anything the league continues to rebuild and reboost its brand. Ever since the NFL hit its lowest tv ratings about a month ago, when practically every nfl player was kneeling or staying in lockerroom during national anthem, the league has bizzarely surged, games are coming down to the wire more, more higher scoring games in general, and specifically higher scoring primetime games along with controversial calls, miracle endings, and specifically endings that affect the spread and/or total or both. All of this is actually good for the NFL business. It averts all of our attention to the games more, and less about the bad aspects and negative publicity of the game, such as anthem protests.
Tonight I again was truely burnt again, I did have a middle on this game, needed the final to remain as is, and that final 72 yd run, again cost me. Along with multiple frantic insane final finishes, such as that Chiefs miracle TD fumble return vs Skins. Along with most recent Jets TD that was overturned and ruled a fumble touchback. I'm not for certain, what exactly is going on, but with sports betting becoming more and more discussed and acceptable in the USA. Alot of sportsnetworks along with color commentators are more open to it, and ESPN has opened its arms to it. Like the old saying goes "controversy creates cash". Anything that had dramatic twists and insane endings is all good for the NFL. Now there will be all sorts of buzz regarding this dramatic ending. This seems to be more than a coincidence, that the majority of primetime games are going Over the total and quite a few are finishing with both controversial and miracle like finishes that involve the pointspread.

I thought all TOUCHDOWN's are reviewed upstairs by the booth?
Why wasn't Henry's last minute 72 yd scamper for a TD, reviewed by upstairs booth?? It looked like he was right on the very edge of the sidelines, for not 1 step, but actually 2 steps, were questionable. I do know that since Indianapolis was all out of timeouts, that they were not able to challenge that 72 yd TD run. But there is a rule that all Touchdown scores are always reviewed by the booth. Was it actually reviewed, and approved, thus explaining why they didnt reverse the call?

The best series price on the Cavs would be for you to manufacture a moneyline parlay, starting from game 4, bet on Cavs moneyline, if they win then take all your money and winnings and roll it over onto game 5, and keep repeating the process until they lose or win championship.
This will effectively more or less give you about 80/1 odds or possibly more on Cavs to win series, depending on where you shop, for the best moneyline odds on Cavs from game to game. Currently some books are offering 40/1 at a fixed price, which is absolutely garbage, you can create a manufactured rollover parlay and get double those odds. You could essentially start a $10 bet on Cavs moneyline for game 4, and if by some miracle of god, they win 4 straight games, you would win $800 after its said and done.

It appears according to this article. (see below)
That the highest ever closing over/under was back on Oct 29 2000, between the Rams/49ers, the line closed at 61.5, not sure what it opened up at, possibly 58/59. And the highest ever opening over/under opened up at 61 and closed at 59, which was week 13 of the 2014-15 season, between Green Bay/New England. So regarding this weekends GB/ATL, it did open up around 58/59 or so and if it closes at 62 or higher, it would then officially be recognized as the highest closing over/under in all of NFL HISTORY. https://www.oddsshark.com/nfl/biggest-over-under-all-time-packers-vs-patriots-might-reach-it |

What is the highest ever NFL over/under (total) in all of it's history?
in NFL Betting
Including regular season, playoffs, superbowl ?
The media all week, has been saying that this GB/ATL total of 61 is the highest of all-time for the "playoffs", so if thats the case, was there a higher over/under at one point throughout NFL history during the regular season??? If there hasn't, then why wont the media just say "it's the highest over/under in the history of the NFL", instead of only isiolating it for the playoffs. I have been following and gambling on the NFL for quite a long time now, and I can never recall ever seeing an over/under of 61 like this. This has to be the highest total in NFL HISTORY.

2:26.65 winning time, how??? I come up with 2:29 ish (over/under was 2:27)
in Horse Racing
Okay I found the answer to my curiousity.
Apparently there is a policy in place called the "run-up", it differs from track to track, distance to distance, course to course and so forth. So actually the official time, starts usually several feet or yards after the horses break out of the gates, this explains the timing disparity. This long, yet very interesting article, explains the process on full detail. https://www.drf.com/news/timing-everything-correctly-timing-race-more-complicated-it-looks

@MrFixers...thank you for your input.
But like I said , I also timed it 2 more additional times on full replay. From gate to wire and, still my time was 3 full seconds off the official time. I could understand, if I was like 1/4 or 1/2 a sec off, but 3 full seconds is a massive difference. I keep coming up with 2:29.65 or 2:29.70, but the official track time came up with 2:26.65 ??? Try yourself, review race on youtube and time it for yourself. I'm sure you will get 2:29, like me too.

I used a stopwatch, during the live race, and 2 more times, during the full replays...and I'm getting approximately 2:29.65 or 2:29.70 on the winning time for American Pharoah.
I start my stopwatch immediately as the buzzer blares when gates kick open and stop my watch as soon as American Pharoah's nose hits the final wire/the pole at the end. Ironically enough the over/under on winning time was 2:27, and I would be upset, if I had the Over 2:27 time, which from my observations and timing, I come up with a time of 2:29 and change. Here is a link for the race: American Pharoah wins the Triple Crown - 2015 Belmont.....https://youtu.be/WyDcXtVb8_U |
