Bama had the worst gameplan ever to start this game
They completely went away from everything that got them to the game. With Colt healthy, it would have been a much better game, but not a guarantee Bama doesn't win once they start running Ingram. Texas hasn't stopped Ingram yet, but he only runs 3 times then leaves the game. |

Damn that was a Texas sized hole they opened for the RB

UT has lost 2 QBs? ouch

Gee, now use the Heoisman RB and suddenly you move the ball.
Bama coaches might be getting their heads out of their collective asses finally |

Bama deserves to lose right now
The Bama coaches have put together the worst gameplan I have seen a team use all season. McElroy isn't a great QB, but you let him have the ball 5 times when he continues to get sacked while almost ignoring your Heisman RB |

Refs in the SEC are clearly dirty.
Not only did he fumble it, and the review crew ignored it. The little high stepping should have drawn a celebration or taunting flag instantly and the refs went out of their way to ignore it. |

Clear freeze frame shots prove it was out at the 1yard line
How was there no flag for high stepping, that is clear taunting |

The push on Zurich was a no play?
I see 2-1 in Champions League and 5-3 in England so far.
Good job

Not a good day so far for any of us Liverpool.
I like ESPN having some of these EPL games though. I get to watch the games in High Def, and it makes it much more enjoyable to watch.

Arsenal, Inter, and Juventus all at home favorites look good. Liverpool might be okay, since they are at home.
AC Milan should probably win, but they are on the road and like Man U sold some great players without really replacing them. I wouldn't include Man U. They should win, but Man U needs to find its midfield, and now Rio is out for awhile. Man U could easily draw. Chelsea should probably win, but in a long parlay like that, I might just stay away from all the road teams.
Manchester City v Wolverhampton, should Man City win at home with all that overpriced talent. This is a game Man City has to win, and likely will. I personally might replace one of those away teams with Man City, but I personally don't bet on Parlays that long.

From an embarrassment of riches, I tink Real Madrid has TOO MUCH talent int he midfield.
I just don't know that Kaka, Ronaldo, etc. will mesh well in the midfield at Real Madrid. They have several players that can really spark an offense, but they can also get in each others way. It could be like awhile back when Figo, Zidane, and Beckham more or less won nothing major.

Giggs and SCholes have gotten pretty old. Loved them as workhorse players for years, but they have been around well over a decade now.
I just never have thought Rooney was anywhere near the hype.
Michael Owen could be good if he stays healthy, but he needs a midfield to help him.
Man U's midfield just doesn't look that impressive, at least not when compared to other major teams like Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc. Who really provides the spark for this team now?
I don't think Man U can win the premier league this season, and I think they make a fairly early exit from Champions League unless they either get a lot better or a very lucky draw.

They apparently outbid Setanta. Hard to challenge the the parent companies in NOrth America that own ESPN and Fox sports.
So FSC and ESPN with EPL. You can likely still see a lot of games on justin.tv though |

UGA fans don't think we will win all of our games. If you can get past your 1st grade reading compreshension skills, you would notice I said he has enough talent and leadership to put us in a position to win all of our games. Right before that part, I said he isn't likely to win a game by himself. The rest of the team, especially the defense, have to do their jobs since that is where we will be looking for people to win the games.
The kid has talent. He knows the offense as well as anyone. He isn't likely the weakest link on the team which so many ignorant people like yourself seem to believe.
That doesn't mean he couldn't turn into another Jonathan Crompton, but he will be asked to manage the game and provide leadership which are well within his capabilities.
It is actually an objective point of view of the guy. He has worked hard and stayed on the team when he had the opportunity to transfer after Stafford beat him out of a job.
There is no such thing as an unbeatable team. Ask USC fans about Oregon State and Stanford. Ask UF about Ole Miss last season. I'm sure Michigan remembers App. State, and the long list goes on.
However, you can always count on people like you to pick one or two words out of several paragrapghs, take it out of context, and attempt to verify some personal dislike without any common sense or facts. People like you are typically the reason I don't hang out on free message boards.

He was a highly rated QB coming out of high school.
He is a natural leader. The last time he lost a game starting at QB was before high school. He played at Independence high school and either broke Chris Leak's records or came very close.
He can make the college level passes and get the job done. He started one game for UGA, and we won it. He also came in one game for Stafford late, and led UGA to a come from behind win. He doesn't have Stafford's arm, so UGA will make a lot more high percentage passes, where Stafford was asked to make lwer percentage passes very often. He is accurate, so I would look for a good completion percentage.
Just because you haven't heard of him, doesn't make him bad. Joe Cox isn't likely to single handedly win any games, but he has enough talent and leadership to put UGA in a positon to win all of our games.

In 2007, Oklahoma State was returning Adarius Bowman and one of the best offenses from the previous year.
UGA had just come off a pretty ugly 2006. UGA had Matt Stafford who had just finished the previous season with 7 TDs and 13 INTs. Massaquoi was coming off a sophomore slump. Moreno hadn't emerged, and the RBs weren't impressing anyone. UGA's OL was mediocre, but did have a couple seniors to fall back on (one of which had at least 2 penalties EVERY game). The team got better throughout the season, and finished well.
UGA won 35-14, and it really wasn't that close. Moreno didn't even really emerge in this game, but only showed a few flashes.
Everyone was picking OSU as the upset of the week. Two years later, more or less same crap.
OSU has an offense that was so great they beat 1 out of 5 ranked opponents last season.
UGA has just come off a pretty ugly 2008, and should get better as this season progresses. UGA has a 5th year senior at QB, the RBs haven't emerged with a clear winner yet. The OL is much more talented, but younger. AJ Green is one of the best in the country.
Mark Richt is 30-4 in opponents home stadiums. He has lost only one OOC game in 9 years and it took GT 9 tries and total second half meltdown by UGA to pull it off.
I expect a closer score, but UGA still wins.
Giving UGA 6 points should be WAY TOO MANY! |
