I'm sitting on a nice 25-1 Clemson future. Time for Clemson to switch gears. Seems like they have been bored, almost sleep walking since the big Florida State win. Would love to see Clemson win and Iowa beat Michigan State. Hopefully the committee will rank Clemson 1 and Iowa 4 after that. Clemson would almost certainly be bigger favorites over Iowa in the semis than North Carolina in the conference championship. Has the potential to set up really nice for them.

Colombia will get them on the counter second half as Japan push everyone forward going all out for the win.

Buffons performances lately have been average. Sirigu is solid. No drop off in quality at this point in their careers.

The slick surface really played to Mexico's advantage. Hard to defend a team that passes the ball on the ground on this pitch condition.

There wasn't even a chance to have a scoring chance in the second half before that penalty. Had 1-1 written all over it. Terrible call by the ref

I'm putting some though and consideration into betting against Colombia and Belgium every game on the handicap. Both teams way overvalued. Any thoughts?

Greece played in Portugal on Saturday. Only 2 days rest plus travel to the US. Historically teams do very poorly on less than 3 days rest.

Ghana starters: Kwarasey, Inkoom, Schlupp, Sumaila, Akaminko, Mohammed, Adomah,Essien, J Ayew, Atsu, Asamoah
Netherlands starter: Cillessen; Janmaat, De Vrij, Martins Indi, Vlaar, Blind; De Jong, Sneijder, De Guzman; Robben, Van Persie Ghana is not fielding their best 11. Decent spot for Netherlands to bounce back in front of a home crowd after their poor showing in the 1-1 draw with Ecuador. Netherlands-1

You have to wonder where the US goals will come from.
I see US under 2.5 points for the group stage at +105. It all comes down to the Ghana game. If you think the US won't beat Ghana there's value in the under for sure. After Ghana they play Portugal in Manaus and then get Germany. Impossible task for this US squad. |

Seems reasonable. Assuming Brazil win Group A and Argentina win Group F they will end up on opposite sides of the knockout bracket.
Argentina really has no excuses this time around. They got an easy draw and all of their games will be played in comfortable climates. They should be fresh in the knockout rounds.
