Dan Conroy kicked a 28-yard field goal in the third overtime and Michigan State blocked a potentially tying kick on the ensuing drive to down Georgia, 33-30, in the Outback Bowl on Monday.

Kirk Cousins passed for 300 yards and a touchdown and Le’Veon Bell rushed for a pair of scores for the Spartans (11-3), who snapped a five-game bowl losing streak.

The Bulldogs (10-4) had a chance to win in the first overtime but Blair Walsh missed a 42-yard field goal attempt wide right.

The schools traded field goals in the second overtime and Michigan State got the first crack in the third, with Conroy converting. Walsh’s 47-yard attempt was blocked on 4th-and-14 to end it.

Trailing, 27-20, with 1:55 left, Cousins drove Michigan State 85 yards and Bell punched it in from the 1-yard line with 19 seconds remaining to send it to overtime.

The Bulldogs built up a 16-0 lead at the half, but Michigan State began to creep back into it in the third quarter. The Spartans turned an interception into eight points when Bell rushed in for an 8-yard score and Cousins completed the two-point conversion pass.

The defense made it a 16-14 game 1:33 later, when Darqueze Dennard intercepted Murray and brought it back 38 yards for a score.

Following a Georgia field goal, Cousins drove the Spartans down and gave them their first lead of the day with a 7-yard touchdown pass to Keith Nichol.

The two-point conversion failed and any momentum was short-lived, as Murray drove 81 yards in 1:38, finding Brandon Boykin for a 13-yard score and getting the two-point conversion to make it 27-20.
