Do you cash the checks through your bank or use a service like Western Union? I have not had time to read through the whole process as of now but your input is appreciated.

I just signed up for an account with Bovada primarily to use the online casino but they also post lines earlier then my normal book so I may be using their service as well. My biggest concern is has anyone had issues with them paying out their balance?? Stories/advice is appreciated.

I have been tailing for a few weeks now and just recently you started posting the NHL plays -1 instead of the money line. Why the change?

Do you also research team totals or strictly game totals?

Should have taken ECU -5.5 2nd half. Book didn't offer Davidson either, nice pick on IU! Makes up for my first half IU-1.5 play.

My book always posts them late but I have been looking and playing NBA totals with success (small.) I spend the most of my time in CBB forum but if anyone can direct me in the right direction/provide insight on totals betting I would appreciate it.

@collegegambler Will you always be posting plays in this forum or are you also posting them on a separate picks only thread? Just stumbled across this and read about 20 pages; I admire your balls to get up and do this, best of luck to you in Vegas.

I'm aggressive at the tables BIGfnPOO/Cubsin and I always play two hands @$25-$30 minimum. It was 6 deck 3-2 BJ with side plays paying on 3 hand poker plays including 3 of a kind, flush, straight (35-1, 15-1, 5-1) and max side plays were higher payouts but worse odds. I do not always play these but on occasion I dabble. My progression is that every winning hand gets increased by 20+% and after a loss or two I scale back my wagers. Obviously this doesn't always work but when I hit a streak the wins pile up quickly. Out of the two hours I played, the dealer only had 2 Blackjacks the entire time (!!!!!) and the bust cards were ideal; 5's and 6's repeatedly with me splitting everything and more often than not doubling down on those as well. After I pocketed my original buy-in +$1,100, (3 purples) my minimum bets were never below $50 with another $1k on the table accounting for a possible 20 hands of play.
After winning about 6 hands in a row at my second spot wager the dealer's break proved to be beneficial because one of the bigger wins was ($150 and $200 wagers) pair 8's and pair 9's against a 6, I split plus a double on two hands (I was sweating ) accounted for a nice chunk of change when the dealer turned up a 26. Cashing in chips to have $3K profit in my pocket and still winning BIG hands and then a triple Jack Max side play with 70-1 odds gave me another $350. When one of the other players left I lost a few hands in a row and the energy was gone so I got up and cashed out. I've gone hot and cold many times in my previous plays but I have not experienced a run-up as quickly as this one. I've won (a couple grand) and lost (never more then a grand at one sitting) but usually more-so in a 4-8 hour session which btw my chick despises me for. I'm much more acclimated to Blackjack and table games then I am with sports betting (5 years compared to 6 months,) and the past 3 months, the sports book has been brutal to me but hopefully that Monday night luck can carry over into this week!

Used to drink an entire bottle of Redline before games in college. My vertical would go up half a foot. That garbage is insane.

Started with $400 at a $15 table at Horseshoe Hammond. Started playing $30 on two hands and went on an incredible hot streak. Hitting double downs against 20's, doubling down splits, calling out totals, made $350 on trip Jacks side bet. Not a bad Monday! Keep the hot streak alive!!!

I am on the trading floor at the CBOT in Chicago with a small proprietary trading group strictly trading grain options with a combined experience of over 35 years between us. I have also spent considerable time in the 10-yr treasury option pits as well. I have never traded stock options but I am currently considering day trading equity options although I have only experienced serious position trading in my time on the floor.
We currently have option positions on through Dec 2015 but it is not uncommon for us to have H/K 16 positions on now as well. Day trading options is a tough business and I believe the success rate is under 5% for individual traders in the long run. As one poster above said spreads are just "easy money" in the market; please refrain from ever saying easy again when discussing trading. If it was easy quit your day job and become a professional day trader and see how long that lasts for you.
