Hello, covers brothers. I was trying to get some of the more informed people's opinions on re-selling tickets. Particularly the FLOYD MAYWEATHER VS. MANNY PACQUAIO fight. I read tickets will open at 3-4k.
Now while I know that is a big number, if I can hold say until 2 weeks before the fight and sell for a 1k profit or even a 500$ profit, I see that as a great investment.
I would be buying 2 tickets.
Obviously the more informed people , would know more, such as maybe selling a week before fight, or three days before fight or maybe that these tickets are opening so high there is no chance for profit. I don't know but would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance. The reason I mentioned BIG CHRIS , I think that's his covers name is he's always been very open in discussing the field

Look up Darren Rovell. He writes alot of articles on the ticket markets for major sporting events.
Take a look at this page too. I know you can't compare the Super Bowl to boxing, but the trend shows that ticket prices start to drop about 3 weeks prior to the event.

Yeah, I have no experience flipping tickets, but there's probably a sweet spot that you need to time.
Typically people will plan to go to the event well in advance, but not too far in advance. At some point the last second airfare price, plus the increased margin on the ticket price may sway people away.
If you're still holding very late to the event, you may just have to take what you can get, or go to the fight yourself.
