Hey Lippsman, I dont post much, but die pucks fan my whole life. As a Kings lifer, I am very familiar with good ol Bruce, when he was coaching the Ducks. He has been in this situation before, in 2014, when the Kings won both games 1 and 2, in Anaheim. We all thought, "we should take at least one game at home, and head back to Anaheim 3-1." NOPE. Bruce got the boys to win both games at Staples and I was there for both. Ducks came out and shut down the Kings both games. So, not that I am saying this has that written all over it, but he has dealt with this before, and I have no doubt in my mind, as crappy as the Wild have been, they will take 1 game in STL, and that is likely today. Your statistical find on game 3, points to somewhat of a let down spot, with two road wins coming home for game 3. Also, happened to the Kings last year when they lost both games at Staples went back to SJ and won in OT, to eventually get knocked out in 5. Just wanted to add to your find.

@Dangerbay, I have been saying this for years about Anaheim too. I have no hatred toward them as a Kings lifer. Dont really care about them winning the cup in 07 before the kings. If anything it was great for youth hockey in SoCal. Anyways, if any of you are on the east coast, one day stay up to watch a ducks home game. IT IS DEAD EMPTY.... Ive been down to the pond for Kings and Ducks games, and some other out of market match ups, and the place is empty, considering Anaheim and Orange country is a pretty wealthy county for the most part. Alot of folk with big money in the area, yet the building is always empty, and always flooded with big market fans. Kings fans literally take up over 50% of the games down there. Hawks, wings, most canadian markets who play there as well, always flood the place because tix are dirt cheap and abundant to find. I dont see that market lasting there for very long. I have firmly believed this for a long time now. The sport has grown exponentially in socal, but for a pro team who gets very little support, they wont last. They had 30K in a parking lot, during their stanley cup parade in 2007. goes to show you what im talking about.

Hey Vito and gang, Im not much of a poster, But am an NHL nut, my whole life and a Kings lifer. Budaj may not be the greatest goalie, but I know Bill Ranford and co., really helped refine his game. Yes, the kings D is more organized and stingy, which definitely helped his numbers, but he hadnt been playing very well the last 4-5 games here in LA. Looking at the numbers, Murray at home vs. Budaj away should be a good reason to bet on the Pens. Plus I cant see the pens losing 3 straight especially against a team whos D isnt exactly as great as the Kings. Budaj performed well in both Kings wins vs. the Pens, mostly because the Kings have a tendency of stepping up their game against tougher opponents. Hope this helps

been on the covers footy forum, bases forum, and checked out the baskets and "throw" ball forum..... NOTHING comes close to the pucks group. Too many egos in all of em. Im fairly new to the covers forum but have been betting for about 4 years, til i realized i could use my knowledge about hockey to make some side money other my daily grind in real estate. (ok ok ill stop boring you) cant wait to start making money with you all. Good luck to all of you this season.

On a personal note, I told this to Norbert as well, the Kings resume in the past 5 years speaks for itself, 2 stanley cups and 3 conference finals appearances (just like the Hawks), it takes a real moron not to respect your team. no doubt about it. i get the reason as to why people would be butt hurt about it, shoot, i was butt hurt as a kid, after the mcsorley stick incident, in 93, and on the same token toronto maple leaf fans are STILL butt hurt, about the doug gilmour stick to the face by gretzky non call, TO THIS DAY. (sorry leafs fans, as a kings fan, were used to alot crap going wrong, i mean no offense), but no joke, i havent spoken to one hawks fan who has just said, "great series, it was a toss up at the end, the kings won the coin flip, blah blah...." its been nothing but "kings got lucky." Rangers fan friends of mine, still have nightmares of Dwight King goal. kool, i get it, but do you realllly think your overachieving Rags squad was going to beat the kings in 7???, or lets say even the hawk, if the bounce went the other way. cmon now

Hookem, I read and follow a lot of your posts and by no means do I mean any disrespect, but I have been a die hard kings fan since '87 and new to this forum as you can see from my lack of posts and join date, but I gave all the credit in world to the hawks in 2013, and so did a lot of my kings fan compadres. I have yet to hear or read one hawks fan who will give the kings any credit for what they did from games 2-4 and game 7, to oust your beloved hawks. Not on hfboards not nowhere. Is your fan base really that pompous? (Once again this isn't directed towards you)
