If Boise St was in the SEC, wouldn't you think they would have a lot more bigger, faster and athletic players? They're in the WAC so they are limited in the type of atheletes they can recruit. Give them credtit for taking atheletes nobody wants, and developing them into a fine, cohesive football team. Look at he other side and I'll use Florida as an example. Thake them out of the SEC and put them in any non BCS conference and they would not be getting the atheletes they have now. Urban Meyer knows this but he won't admit it because he's now the head coach of one of the haves and not Utah. The arguement is comparing apples with oranges. Boise St. and TCU can play with anybody! Don't diss them because of their conference affiliation. Boise and TCU might not be this strong next year and I can already hear the "I told you so's". PLAYOFFS!
That's not the point. The point is that this Boise team, as currently constructed, may or may not be worthy of national title consideration, and may or may not have struggled vs an SEC schedule. Your hypothetical Boise team with "SEC athletes" is of no relevance.
