Thake them out of the SEC and put them in any non BCS conference and they would not be getting the atheletes they have now. Urban Meyer knows this but he won't admit it because he's now the head coach of one of the haves and not Utah. The arguement is comparing apples with oranges. Boise St. and TCU can play with anybody! Don't diss them because of their conference affiliation. Boise and TCU might not be this strong next year and I can already hear the "I told you so's". PLAYOFFS!

That's not the point.  The point is that this Boise team, as currently constructed, may or may not be worthy of national title consideration, and may or may not have struggled vs an SEC schedule.  Your hypothetical Boise team with "SEC athletes" is of no relevance.

So if Auburn loses tomorrow and Boise wins out and then beats the Ducks what then?  Is it still they didnt play a SEC schedule?  A 1 loss Auburn aint getting a NC shot.

Thing is how many big schools want Boise on there schedule?

I't very relevant. If Boise was to play an SEC schedule, would it not mean that they're in the SEC? Anyway, the SEC would not play Boise unless they traveled. Ask Boise how they can only get two games with an SEC opponent (Georgia twice) but they have to travel to Athens to play? Also why does the Vaunted SEC not travel west of the Mississippi to play anybody other than in bowl games? Instead they stay at home and fatten up on the Sun Belt and lowly Conference USA opponets.

How is that ignorant? Seriously, I know Boise St is good, but you are a moron if you think they go into any of the top conferences and dominate on the road. If they play at Arkansas, Wisconsin, Stanford or even the team they beat this year, Virginia Tech on the road they are going to lose the majority of the time as every team in a decent conference does.

The very fact that you actually think Boise could dominate any major conference on the road, much less the SEC,  says all I need to know about you. You are either 10 years old or have no concept of college football as it actually is, not as you see it. Hopefully it is the first as you could possibly grow out of it. If it is the latter there is not much hope for your reasoning ability, at least where sports is concerned...

By the way, do you actually make any picks or do you just go around in various threads showing your lack of sports intelligence...

Now we know why that argument existed, and now it is proof. I will admit that Boisie did do just enough to have a chance to win the game at the end. But giving up 17 point lead at the half  was on the defense, they could not stop the run. And SEC has tougher running teams than Nevada,, imagine what Bama or Auburn would do to them... I am a Boise hater anyway, so glad to see it happen... But to give credit where it is do, I do think they are a top 15 team,, just my opinion,

you are living in a fantasy world. if they played in the pac 10 they would be challenged every week. it's easy to think you're invincible when playng in the wac. but no way you go undefeated in good conference. why can't you see that.
