Remember your daughter before you ever drive while drinking.
A "DUI" is not only when you are caught. Be thankful there have been no accidents to date.
GL with this for you and your family.

P, man, so sorry to hear about this. I will continue with the unsolicited advice. It sounds like you know you made a mistake, but I am afraid the judge will have very little sympathy. In his mind, you should have learned after your 2nd, 3rd, etc.
The post about doing something drastic is good adivce. I would add to it. You need to get involved in a drinking while driving related program - like MADD or an equivalent. Go to meetings that you don't have to go to. Go to multiple meetings. Volunteer at the check in stand for the meetings and then attend the meetings. Start talking to one (or more) of the victim's (their stories are really difficult to hear, but you learn a lot from them) and see if there is anything they can recommend that you do to make amends. Whether personally for that victim or if they have any advice about some program you can get involved in. After all, you (and many of us for that matter) are no different than the person that changed that person's life, except you got pulled over by a cop and the drunk driver that changed that person's life did not.
Godspeed my friend. Takes guts to admit your faults and I respect you for that. Now go take care of yourself.

BOL with this matter P, like others have said, I don't know you but you seem like a genuine good person here on covers, be strong and make sure you get the best lawyer you can afford as I think it makes a huge difference.
Most of us do the same thing and just have been lucky not to be pulled over, but these days it is getting harder and we are all pushing our luck.

P_66 - you are the class of this forum. Our thoughts are with you.
Keep your chin up. We've all been there and pretty much most of us have "done that" ... "luck" and "chance" have been the only things which determined whether we woke up in Pod A or in our own bed.
Your last one was more than 5 years ago - that says a lot. Hopefully the others were more than 10 years ago.
Think tactical and do what is best for the defense of your case. Hell - I did rehab as a tactical decision to increase my leverage. Give yourself bullets to fight the battle.
Finally, I love this saying: No matter what you are going through, you are GOING ....THROUGH it. It will pass.
BOL man! It's gotta feel shitty ... and hearing folks preach doesn't help - I will be sending you positive vibes.

Wow P I read your thread and I am sorry to hear the news.My advice would be to make sure you have strong representation in this matter because they are pretty hardball on multiple DUI's.Before I married my wife I used to date this girl that was real hot buy could not lay off the booze.3 times caught driving under the influence. It was the ruination of our relationship as I didn't want to deal with that shit anymore. So for yourself and fam do your best and I believe if you really want something enough in most cases it can happen. Best of luck my friend.
