Belgium, France, Germany etc have immigrant ratios exceeding 10% of the population, they don't assimilate and it has created huge problems. It is largely to blame on what I would call left side politicians of the 70's, 80's and 90's, but right side politicians are guilty as well, they supported large, cheap labor influxes when it suited them. It's also plain math and demographics, Europeans are highly educated and wealthy and have less children, muslim immigrants are poorly educated and less well off and have plenty of children.
I would probably be called a liberal here in North America. As far as the politics of it go, I don't really want to get into it, Reagan should not have armed and supported the Taliban just because they were fighting the Russians. Bush should not have invaded Iraq and let the country descend into anarchy thus creating the perfect breeding ground for IS who started there and not in Syria.
There is no ready solution for Europe. If it wasn't for geographic factors, the same would be happening in the USA a lot more. You can't protect yourself from brainwashed fanatics who are willing to die.
Anyway, I hope the best for Europe and I expect the worst.
