Why are you so high on Denver? Back to back road games on the East Coast and they're going against the #1 pass defense. The Broncos can't rush the football. Any thoughts here...

I post this because I see a lot of love on Denver in this forum. I say it's a no play or Baltimore.

As a Denver Broncos fan, the smart play is Baltimore at -7.
Denver hasn't won in Baltimore in over 10 years. The Ravens have the number one pass defense and they get pressure on the QB. The Broncos O-Line is good (not great), but they are going to get crushed by Baltimore's front 7. I think McDaniels is smart enough to draw up a great game plan for the #1 pass offense in the NFL, but I don't see it being executed too well against a dominate pass rush. Back to back games on the east coast. This one seems to be even tougher on the Broncos than last week. The Broncos barely squeezed by last week. Baltimore -7 |

I too was at the game on Saturday against Berkeley. Cal was bigger and stronger on the Oline and Dline. I agree, Hawkins is a dead man walking. The altitude will play to CU favors and I think CU pulls this one out, but I don't think they'll cover. It will be a shootout, but I see CU winning by a TD.
Colorado State has a good shot at going defeated this year and CU got murdered by Cal. I like CU SU, but I like Hawaii covering. |

I'm assuming since it's 2010 and the statistic dates back to 1999. That he is referring to A. 3 wina, 8 losses and B. 9-2 SU in the last 11 games. Pretty bizarre statistic.
I don't know if I can bring myself to take the niners on MNF after their miserable performance in Seattle. I hope they respond. I'm on the home dog come MNF and the Colts in the Manning bowl. |

"They have no run game"
When your passing game ranks #2 in the NFL and your rushing game ranks #32 in the NFL it becomes easier for defenses to identify their weaknesses. Jets match up nicely against the Colts passing offense. Some food for thought on the other end. Colts rank 24th against the rush and the Jets have the #1 rush offense, so if New York can stay close through the first half, clock management will play a crucial role here. Jets also have a good special teams unit. This game seems like a hammer... |

It's been about 3 years since I've been around this forum. Just dropping in and putting some food for thought on the table. Probably could have been written a little better, so I apologize in advance.
I also really like the Jets -4.5 on Sunday, but the lines shows off. Can anyone let me know if the line is open in Vegas and what it's sitting at? Cheers! |

The N'Orleans Saints are in a sticky situation tonight. The Saints defense ranks 23rd in the NFL against the pass and rank 18th against the rush. To add to mix they don't get good pressure on the opposing QB and rank 18th in sack production. The Saints inability to get to the quarterback will allow Tony Romo to settle in nicely for tonight's game. So far the poor play calling in crucial games has put Cowboys, OC, Jason Garrett on the hot seat for the second year. It seems he steer's away from the rush late in games which has lead to poor clock management. If the Cowboys cover the spread tonight they have to develop the rush. The Cowboys rank 2nd in average yards per carry and rank 8th in offensive rushing. Not too mention they have a legitimate three back system. The Saints excel in one area on defense, interceptions. If they preach ball security to Tony Romo tonight and develop the rush early. The Cowboys will set themselves up for a chance to win this football game in the 4th quarter. The "hot seat" has been lite in Dallas. Tonight's game will play a big role in the future of play calling for the Dallas Cowboys.
Tonight's play: Cowboys +8 and up. New Orleans Saints 31 - Dallas Cowboys 24 |

I like Boston, but I might be a little concerned with LA, but +10 is a huge amount for a playoff game...specially a number 1 seed. Utah could run with it big though!

No reason to think otherwise. Turco is strong against every team in the league...besides Detroit. They are incredibly strong and will be too much. Bring out the broom.
