What is Bookmakers policy on giving out a bad line? Do they honor it?

I have a question! What is Bookmakers policy on giving out a bad line? Do they have to honor it?

I can't believe you said in the beginning of your post that Orlando is the better team!! They would win 6 out of 10 on avg. Are you on crack? What series have you been watching? Boston should have won Game 4 if Pierce didn't dribble the ball of his foot. And, don't get me started on Game 5. Donagheys' friends (Refs) had the fix on. Those technicals called were the worst I have ever seen in my life. And, Boston kicked their asses again in Game 6. Out of the six games played, Boston should have gone at least 5-1 or 6-0. Vince Carter looks old and slow. R. Lewis had one good game out of six. Howard is superman? Good rebounder and blocker but, man, he looks ugly when he is more than two feet away from the basket. J. Although J. Nelson got going at times, Orlandos' starters never consistantly played two games in a row. The only player I thought played hard was J.J. Reddick. Bostons' defense suffocated them. Orlando would win an average of 6 out of 10. What a joke? They got no heart!! In the playoffs, teams' benches make the difference. Thats why the Celtics will win it all. The Lakers also have no bench players. Boston Celtics will beat the L.A. Lakers in 5 or 6 games !!

If he is good as he says he is, why does he need to manage your money? You are right, what does he have to lose. If he makes you money, he makes the 7.5 percent commish from you. If he loses your money, when you go to recoup your (guaranteed) principle lost he tells you to get lost. Taking a free shot with your money!!

I have an account at Twinspires. You can open an account by purchasing a "greendot moneypack" card at any CVS/Rite-Aid. When opening the account you could enter anykind of address but give them your real email address so you can open of your own free stable alert account. After you log in with your PIN #, go to "Manage your Account" and then open your virtual stable. The great thing about Twinspires is that once you open your account , you can get Free replays and Real-time (Live) Video feed for all North-American horse and harness tracks. You don't need to continue to make deposits to get the Live Track Feeds and Race replays. Watching replays is the most important handicapping tool (My opinion). With regards to your free virtual stable, you can monitor your (next-time out) horses by the horses' name or a given trainer. Hope this information is helpful.

GameHunter, I am also interested in Matchbook. Do you know if they take pre-paid (re-loadable) credit cards? Also, would you get anything if I used you as a referral? I heard Matchbook doesn't give bonuses on deposits, is that true? Good luck with the MLB season! Let's make some $$$$$$$. |

And guess who is going to run this Healthcare reform plan. Can you say "Internal Revenue Service". That's right, the I.R.S !! They are already making plans to hire 1,000's of new employees!! Very sad day for this country. One-sixth of the economy run by a government which is getting more control by the minute. Banks, autos, healthcare, whats next? The U.S. is looking more like China everyday. |

I agree with Grego. I live in Massachusetts, where this mandatory healthcare plan is already in place. Bankrupting the state!! Now Massachusetts is cutting other state services to cover the costs. Massachusetts is in need of 100's of millions of dollars from the U.S. gov't to make up the difference, giving the gov't all the power. If doctors aren't getting paid, they are not going to take patients with that coverage. My doctor does not even take patients with MASS health (state program). Eventually, they are going to have to raise all their rates to cover these added patients, hoping the gov't will reimburse them.

Everyone say that three team teasers are a suckers play, but I am betting a few $220/200 teasers. Guys, I need everyones' lock picks with the extra 8 points. I am looking at Nevada +15, App. State +17-, and Mizz. St. - the hook. Any others? I'm just trying to build up my bankroll for the MLB season.

Obama does gamble. Unfortunately it is with the citizens of the U.S. He's going to bet his whole U.S. bankroll on a Healthcare prop. Odds: 6/10 (Tax payers paying in for ten yrs. for actual 6 yrs. of Universal Healthcare. Ironically if he hits his prop, U.S. bankroll will still be $O. LOL

Contests should be for 2, 3 , or 4 picks for any given sport. Normal bettors don't play every game on the board and their over/unders. Doing this would show who the best handicappers for any given sport are. The cream would rise to the top.

In the Big East I always like taking the points/underdogs. Tough, competitive Conference. I also like Georgetown tonite. I saw on Espn Georgetown has a player out tonite with an illness. Can anyone tell me who this is before I play anything on Georgetown?

Doesn't there have to be a ratio for any 2, 3, 4, 5, Unit plays to your standard 1 unit play to track your ROI (return on investment). For example, bet a 2 unit play 30 % of the time, 3 unit play 20 % of the time, 4 unit play 10 % of the time, 5 Unit play 5 % of the time. These ratios are not correct, but it is easy to see that if you make a 5 unit play always 5/100 their return would always affect your bottomline the same. Let's say you are going (4-15) in 1 unit plays, a bettor could make and win five 5 unit plays in a row and be showing a (9-15) record and be showin (+14 Units YTD). On the other hand if the bettor just made one 5 unit play for every 20 plays, winning that 1 play the bettor would be (5-15) and losing 6 units YTD. This is why it is very hard to track people on the COVERS website. I know you have all seen people losing, losing, losing, and then they are seen increasing their plays to 2 and 3 unit plays to make up for all their losses and showing positive (+) ## Units.

Does any bet MLB over/unders according to the plate umpire of said game? Can anyone point me in the right direction to follow the plate umpire trends? I.E. small strike zone = bet OVER, large strike zone = bet UNDER. Anyone track this system/angle in the past? I'm sure Vegas accounts for this in making the lines, but I'm looking for umpires > 65 % OVERS / UNDERS

Dallas minus 9 and a half. One f*#n point in the last SIX (6) minutes!! when I need 2 points. If I was there I would have stormed their lockeroom. Looks like I am going to have to eat some of my Avatar. |
