Terrible bowl season going 20-23 for a -18.6 units If I lose this one tonight I am through posting on here for the year but will still be playing Georgia Tech large and probably an average play on Alabama in the Championship game. It has been a fun year just not very profitable to this point which could all change with the last few games. 10 units TCU -7 (-120) TCU is quite possibly the best team in the country and tonight I believe they show that and could make a statement for themselves to be crowned co-champions of the National Champion even though college football will not do it. |

Outback Bowl Okay making this short because that is exactly what I am on time. Both of these teams have the offensive ability to score points at a very rapid rate. Also the bowl will be played in the sunny land of Florida so no players should be tight instead they should be out running at full force. Small wager as I don't have the time I would like to actually research this game. 2 units Over 55 back tomorrow with updated record and plays on the games

Alright good start to the day going 4-1 and picking up 10.4 units Iowa State looks good so far but still a lot of game to be played and the Tennessee line has moved drastically in my favor especially in the moneyline area so hopefully that is a sign of things to come. About to go over the early game tomorrow and then head out for the night just wanted to update the record when I had a chance. Bowl Record: 14-13 +1.15 units good luck |

Update Bowl Record through 12/30: 10-12 -9.25 units
Usually don't place all my bets at once but really have no choice tomorrow as I will not be here to post my plays any. Hopefully I get in Dallas early enough to go over the early game for the first because I doubt I get up in time for that kickoff.
Plays 12/31:
5 units Air Force +5
2 units Air Force moneyline (+170)
2 units Air Force vs. Houston over 63 (-115)
3 units Oklahoma -10 (even)
3 units Navy vs. Missouri under 51 (-105)
2 units Iowa State +3 (-130)
3 units Tennessee +6 (-115)
1 unit Tennessee moneyline (+200)
3 units Tennessee vs. Virginia Tech under (-115)

Last two games I have time to break down before I leave in the morning and these writeups will be much shorter as I just don't feel like writing all the things I have found after researching these games.
Insight Bowl
Game between Iowa State Cyclones and the Minnesota Badgers.
Neither team is exactly an offensive powerhouse but Iowa State is the better offensive team. The same thing goes with their defensive game but in this regard Minnesota holds a slight edge. Both teams come into the game with a 6-6 record. In Iowa State's last two games they dropped two of them but both of these teams will be playing in bowl games. Minnesota also lost two of their last three one to an 3-9 Illinois team and thier win coming against San Diego State in which they only won 16-13(yikes).
Lean: Iowa State +3
Chick Fil-A Bowl
Finally a more exciting game to watch and to cap. The Tennessee Volunteers led by smack talking Lane Kiffin against Beamer Ball Virginia Tech.
Virginia Tech's offense revolves around their run game while Tennessee has a very balanced offensive game plan. I could go on and on about all the stats but I am tired so I am going to summarize what I can see happening in this game.
Kiffin is going to have this team fired up like crazy and Oregon the defensive line coach loves games like this where his players can make the difference in this game. Only bad thing is Kiffin himself might be too fired up and get himself outcoached by Frank Beamer. This is where Lane's dad will come in and help his son out by having a great defensive game plan set up to at least give the Vols a chance in the game.
Lean: Under 49.5
As of now I would lay off the side
Back real soon with final plays

Sun Bowl
Matchup of the PAC-10 and the Big 12. Stanford Cardinals have possibly the best all around team player in Toby Gerhart on their team. Oklahoma has a defensive full of players that will be playing on Sunday.
This game should be a great test for Gerhart to see if he really has the skills to perform in the NFL. Oklahoma even without Bradford has still had a decent year and rank in the top ten nationally pass offense. Oklahoma has had a very disappointing year thus far with only a 7-5 record. Stanford on the other hand has had a great year going 8-4 and were in contention for the Rose Bowl much of the year.
The Cardinals are going to try their best to give the ball to their playmaker Gerhart in this game due to the fact their quarterback will probably not play and I do not see him being able to have the games he is used to against the defensive line of Oklahoma. Oklahoma will be geared up to show the nation that even though they had a bad season they are not through playing football in Norman. They will come out throwing the ball against this porous Stanford pass defense and this game should never be in doubt.
Lean: Oklahoma -10
Texas Bowl
Leave it to the state of Texas to think they should sponser their own bowl. I am ready for the Rhode Island Bowl that one will really excite me I think.
This game has Navy facing off with Missouri. Navy like most military schools runs the triple option. Missouri is a more...Big 12 like team I guess as they along with everyone else in that conference airs the ball out all game.
With the amount of time Missouri has to prepare along with the speed I can see them being able to shut down the run game for Navy and make them beat them through the air and I have zero confidence in Navy's pass game.
Missouri will try to throw the ball in this game but Navy has a very good and balanced defense with no real weaknesses in either the pass or run area.
This game sets up for a classic game for Navy where they try to control the clock and keep the ball away from Missouri's high powered offense.
Lean: Under 51.5
Really don't like either side in this game.

Armed Forces Bowl
Game between the running game of the Air Force Falcons and the passing game of the Houston Cougers. Air Force's last game was played on the 21st of Novemeber which is some kind of layoff in football and in that game they lost to BYU by seventeen points. Houston last played in the CUSA championship game where they lost a tough game between ECU by six points.
Air Force ranks third in the country in rush offense while Houston is ranked 111th in run defense. Houston ranks first in the country in pass offense while Air Force is ranked first in pass defense. These stats favor Air Force by a land slide but the passing attack of Houston is different than most teams as it is based mostly on short quick passes somewhat like the Texas Tech offense. These type of passes are almost running plays for the Cougers and Air Force's rush defense is ranked 46th in the country.
I believe this game sets up nicely for Air Force as they are another team from the MWC who is trying to really prove themselves this year in the bowl games as so far they are 3-0.
Lean: Air Force +4.5
Slight Lean: Over 63
Possibly: Air Force moneyline

Also another note about the Holiday Bowl In a bowl pickem I am in with probably the best example of public opinion 67 out of the 80 people have Nebraska winning straight up tonight so that really is helping my Arizona lean. |

Holiday Bowl
In this game we have the Defensive Player of the Year led Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. the Arizona Wildcats. Hard to not root for Suh as he has been a manbearpig beast this year.
Nebraska comes into the game playing very good football after they almost knocked off Texas in the Big 12 championship game. Arizona also comes into this game hot winning 2 of their last 3 including a win over USC, who yes is down this year but they are still USC.
Nebraska is all defense they hardly ever score over 4 touchdowns in a game that features an opponent that has a true defense. Arizona is a very balanced football team on both sides of the ball in both passing and rushing along with pass defense and rush defense. This game is all set up for a long defensive struggle between two very good coached football teams.
This is one of the harder games this far in the bowl season to cap in my opinion. With that said I will gladly take 3 points as that is huge in a defensive struggle. Thinking about the under as well but they always see if it looks too easy it usually is so have to look even more into that.
Slight Lean: Arizona +3

Humanitaritan Bowl
We have the Bowling Green Falcons vs the Idaho Vandals on the Blue Field of Boise State this afternoon. Bowling Green comes into this game on a 4 game winning streak as they have been playing good football as of late. The Vandals are coming into this game in the exact opposite form as they come into the game with a 3 game losing streak and their last lost came against a 4-8 team.
Bowling Green has one of the greatest receivers in the game right now with Freddie Barnes and this team really airs the ball out as they are ranked 8th in the nation in passing offense. This works against the Vandals who rank 114 (out of 120) in pass defense.
Idaho has a more balanced offensive system but it is slightly heavier on the pass than run. However, Bowling Green has a much better pass defense than Idaho, therefore for Idaho to win this game they must run the ball against the weak Bowling Green defense.
Lean: Bowling Green +1
