The problem with gambling is 2 things
If you start out red hot (8-0 *** picks) you're going to eventually fall back to earth - and the hotter you are the steeper the fall. No one will consistently pick 70-80+% winners - good people will be around 60% - so justdo the math and you will realize for this guy to be back to the norm it's gonna be a flurry of losers. 2nd thing - is 2 parts. When you're hot and you lose a few you'll eventually tell yourself well I can'tose 3 in a row, 4 in a row etc and your bet increments will increase and the hole will be dug deeper bc odds are your chasing losers. Part 2 is for those who follow picks - most people will get in at the wrong time and only experience the losers. You got to be in from the start and be all in. To sum it up - your bet sizes should be consistent and only become larger when you're already up and on an uptick (not on a down tick)and if you follow someone's picks you can't time the picks and jump on the train mid session. You gotta ride it out It's clear everyone here jumped on the bandwagon at the peak from the growing comments of his picks each day. when he was 8-0 in *** picks I was very enticed to join in but had a feeling the shoot will get cold so I held off for a couple of losers and picked the ones of his I thought made sense. A few of the recent ones didn't like Nevada - who played Iona already and trailed at half to them the first game. |

I think Winnipeg may be a good guy to follow this season - but the volume here shows wayyyyyy to many people hopped on the train too late.

Your lock of the day is your highest conviction game - so when you can't even hit that - that's very awful. Why on earth would anyone follow the rest of losers picks? if the 7 losers get their next pick wrong then it shows they have no idea what they are doing |

I've so many posts with peoples picks. So far I've noticed WPGJETSFAN is very good.
Kalamus is a fraud. Guy posts absurd bet amounts - anyone claiming to bet over $20k on O/Us in a single game on a public forum with no way to verify just wants the attention. I'd stay away from him for sure. |

I stand corrected - the last bet was a push so your total is actually correct.
But it's still not real $$

Didn't love C Mich 2H but took them small that didn't hit I also took BC and S Florida 2H - I forgot to mention I took BC +3.5 ATS normally.

I've historically made all my winnings in college hoops with 2ND Half Bets - I'm okay ATS - had a few hot streaks in my life. Later in the year I feel like it's not hard to find trends with good teams who are 10+ pt favorites who tend to start of sluggish in the 1H but close in the 2H. If the underdog is leading at half time and happens to be shooting lights out (especially from 3) and the favorite is turning over the ball a lot and is shooting like crap - more times than not they turn it around and you can find a line that essentially allows them to just win the game to cover the 2H line - sometimes you get them at a 20+ point discount if its ugly 1H.
Here is how I did today Wins Bradley +5.5 (bought up from +3.5) 1H Chaminade +9 2H under 79.5 Oregon/Tenn 2H E Kentucky -5.5 Losers 2H NJIT -1 2H Texas -.5 Games later I like Minn -3.5 S Florida +4.5 Marquette -12.5 SMU -19 Wyoming +2 UNLV -12.5 Wash -12.5 |

Last thing haha - parlays are an awful building block to start off with. Unless you hit your first one or two quickly- you're gonna build yourself in a hole and be praying to hit one just to break even.
Bet games straight up. You'll kick yourself when you get in a groove in parlays just to miss 1 leg and lose the whole bet.

Not too mention you took all favorites - that's an easy way to lose all your money quickly

Lol - if you're starting out for the first time and have a limited bank roll 1H bets are probably the last thing you want to touch.
It's essentially a degenerate bet - especially early on in the season. |
