Just checked the CA site for my daughter. Lowest plan I saw was $156 a month after her $40 subsidy for only making $32k a year. Deductible of $5000 and max out of pocket $6350 which doesn't include her premiums of $1872 a year.
No way a young adult can afford this.
Also on the Nevada site I tried to see if someone would qualify for a subsidy at a certain income level but you had to provide a lot of personal info. They run this info through Experian to verify the information, so you can't see what the subsidies are unless you give them all your information and it matches your credit report. No thanks.
