Hey Club when I was young we would pay $5 on half price night. Place would be less than 50% or less attendance. We would always walk down and sit within the first four rows.
This was in the fun days. Go to Golden Gate Fields or Bay Meadows. Go to Spenglers and eat on the cheap and go see the game. Miss those days.

i was there in the early nineties when there was some excitement about the team so i don't remember tickets being that easy.
but years before that, my dad and i would go to the old fulton county stadium in atlanta in the days of dale murphy and bob horner and buy cheap tickets in the parking lot and walk right up to the dugout seats and watch the games with a few hundred strangers.

p.s. Just out of curiousity, am I going to have to do this everytime? I don't want to end up being some sort of glorified rabbit's foot...

There's this scene in the original Airplane movie in which an older lady asks for "something light and easy to read" from the stewardess. She brings back a palm sized pamphlet of 2 pages entitled "Famous Jewish Athletes." I suppose Jerry Koosman would be on the first page.
