I'm getting on Seattle - 10 right now! IMO it's gonna take a helluva a game from Kapp for them to cover. They will have little success running the rock and though Kapp is capable he has not been showing it

Cincy / Browns a most intriguing match.Browns go unto Cincy and beat them 23 - 3 by rushing the ball 52 times for 170 yds. With a new qb and Cincy giving up 4.4 per att. i'd be shocked if they dont employ the same tactics. Now Marvin Lewis being the defensive guru that he's said to be might stack box and force J. football to beat them. Here is my question, can Rusty Dalton possibly play worse than the 10/33/3 for 89 fackin yds.I like the Browns here

seattle -10. that's a bold move. i was actually thinking of reaching into the old bag of tricks and bringing out a teaser to get SF at 17 or so.
when you get to be Hugh Jorman's age, if we should all be so lucky, he's allowed to come and go as he pleases. so he takes weeks off. whether the vacation is due to a new relationship, another misstep with the legal authorities or something else, we can't say.
best of luck to anyone who can figure out what the hell will happen in the bengals/browns game. i, for one, have no clue.

CAROL -3 No Fig Newton? No problem. Sharps were quick to bang the opening number up to 7 from 5 before Fig rolled his Ram. The overreaction to dropping this number to 3 means we have nice value on a favorite that can still smell the playoffs. Last week's divisional rout of New Orleans is proof of that.
CINCI +1 We must believe the Bengals are a good team to buy into a revenge factor here. I'm making a purchase based on Marvin Lewis' ability to scheme up a defensive plan that stops midgets dead in their tracks. Honestly, if Hoyer was QBing, Cinci would have been a field goal favorite but the Manziel hype makes the Bengals the good value side.
WASH +7 It's good to know the Skins have finally settled on Sonny Jurgenson as their starting QB. This should give some stability to a team which needs it. Washy is one of only 2 teams with positive point differential and a losing record, so they're not as bad as we think. They'll be reminded of the 45-14 thrashing the Giants gave them back in October. It may help.
DNV -4.5 Not a smart bet, but just a gut play that the Broncos are ready to punch their playoff ticket now rather than later. The missing offensive pieces of the past few games are all back on the field for this week, and I suspect a motivated but outclassed Charger team will melt down sometime after halftime. They don't handle adversity well. I see a backdoor cover for the favorite in my future.
INDY/HOU O 49 One total and for Cy's sake it's an over.
