for me jumbo has been all heart these playoffs and very good in this series. i am sure torres or someone else will test his shoulder early if in fact joe does play- just my speculation.
this is why teams dont report their injuries. hockey is a brutal sport really and if a team did know an exact injury of the opposing team he or they would go after that particular body part

Burley tipped me a series wager before we got started Canucks to win in 5 it was the lowest odds available when I saw it I pounded it.
I figured 3 home wins and a split in San Jose. So here we are on the eve of game 5 I feel really confident about a Vancouver win tomorrow & here's why - I reason builds on the other.....
1. Vancouver has figured out the Sharks PP and has shut them down in the last 5 periods, one of the reasons is the sharks won't go to the nest and if watched their early success it was the same they just got a couple of good tips.
2. Yes San Jose is getting lots of shots but Luongo is seeing 90% of them and giving up no rebounds and all the shots are coming from the perimeter, which is why Lou is seeing them - no traffic in front, not sure if that is because of Sharks will ( their heart has been well documented as a negative) or the Canucks skill just boxing the Sharks out and keeping the lanes clear for Bobby lou....
3. Lastly Depth - If you look at the Nucks roster you see a long a list of injured players, but no worries we keep plugging reserves that would be starters on every other team in the NHL. The Sharks stars all banged up, (Marleau maybe the only healthy guy in SJ) but they all have to keep playing because there is no depth on SJ roster to in fill for the injuries. There is no way Colture should not have been playing last game, not sure what is wrong with Heately but he is worthless and now Joe is hurt. Maybe they wont go to the net because they are too hurt to pay the price......
If you don't want to pay the juice take the nucks TT over 3 - The San Jose net will be empty at the end of the game tomorrow......Look for another 4-2 final

Dear Ryan Clough: you don't scare anyone and when you score, perhaps you should show some emotion, like maybe someone else helped you or had something to do with it. You are NOT the next coming of Al Secord or Clark Gillies or anyone who had a scoring touch who was also tough. You don't skate well, you don't pass well, you can't skate backwards (or be defensive at all). So lose the smug look. And sucker punch someone who might fight back. You wouldn't have done that to Rypien (who showed what a "coward" Eager was many times) or Glass, or anyone who matched your height and/or weight.
This rant may not belong in this thread, but I had to say it somewhere. Cheers to the Sharks who ARE tough (through play and gamesmanship). Clough and Eager aren't. Just hacks.

Unless Marleau takes over the game for the Sharks.
Thornton is not a factor, nor is Marleau. Thornton may have a few points, but his direct opponents have more. His points/goals have been nothing near impressive, more like presents (thanks Santa!). He floats around like the new Mike Modano...(he probably gets a bonus if they don't have to wash his uniform, he never breaks a sweat). And he should be embarassd at the foolish head-snap to get a penalty called on Bieksa. Did you notice the stick-in-the-face Cody Hodgson got? Did he flop like a gaffed salmon in the back of the boat? Nope.
Don't expect Geritol Joe to pull this one off. He's a floater, and the Bruins only mistake was to fire O'Connell for trading him, because it actually wasn't O'Connel who made the decision, it was Mr. Burn..er Al Davis... I mean Harry Sinden........whatever, same guy.

If it wasn't for a flukey goal off Edlers elbow Canucks were on there way to winning game 5 against Nashville ,,they were playing fine up to that point... Everything changed after that. Laying the wood -170

I read it man. Not saying you don't bring up solid points. You're a big Nucks fan and that's fine but I still liket the Sharks at this price. I'm far from a Nucks hater (even though I can't stand Luongo)
I had huge futures on the Sharks to win the cup at an average price of +2000 and I hedged out completely (payout wise) by taking Nucks +365 (in the Preds series) and Nucks +190 (before the Sharks series) to win the Cup.
I hedged out because I thought they would win the series, and they surely look like they will.
