Well Hawks fans, I gotta say we got our hands full this year...the way we played lastnight and especially on our power play is hard to make an argument that we can come back in this series.
Toews looked exhuasted and the physical play we are lacking is starting to take it's toll. I do expect Kopecky back for next game which should help at centre but I got to admit I am really liking the play of Ben Smith ever since he came up for that 1st game in the home and home series with Detroit. Coach Q has to change these lines up and go back to what worked when we were on our 8 game winning streak.

I will leave with this until tomorrow night, this series is far from over Canucks fans, we will win the next 2 games.
Regardless if it is our year or not the Canucks are going to go through the same salary cap issue the hawks did last year losing key players like a Bieska, Ehroff even Higgins so it really should be there year...but don't see Luongo carrying anybody to a stanley cup final.

Kane and Toews are getting no shots on goal. I would split them up. Man it would be nice to see Bolland come back too.I'm not sure what the status of Kopecky or Bickell will be for Sunday night....but Q needs to do something drastic !

Ya not sure what Bickell's staus either, but regardless I wouldn't be suprised to see Bolland in game 3....they are really hurting at centre right now. Regardless they need to put Sharp at centre and get Smith more involved considering he has 3 goals in last 4 games.
Hope the Madhouse helps them, but they really are missing net presence right now and the physical play of guys like Eager and Burish.

Wrong, Unlike the Hawks, Vancouver has used and managed money brilliantly thanks to Mike Gillis. Although they may lose some players(which is normal) nothing like the fire sale in Chicago will happen in the land of the Canuck.

SlickMatt you're dreamin if you think the Hawks have any chance in this series. The Canucks are clearly a better team and if not for an even worse team in Dallas, they wouldn't even be in the playoffs. Far cry from last year big guy! Welcome to 2011 and stop wasting your time.

Sorry clepto but your wrong DAVE TALLON the former gm messed up not the Bowman Co. They have made key moves to keep this team competitive. But Tallon did make some great draft picks along the way I will give him that. Just the signings of Huet and Campbell were mistakes.

You just jelouse HAHAHAHA AHAHAHA CANUCKS WILL WIN THIS SERIES.
The only jealousy should be that Vancouver has never won a cup and never will! Plus if and that is a big IF you win this series it is about time as the Hawks have owned your team!

Everyone knew the Hawks were done when they lost the likes of Bufghkluybnfbn and acquired pansie tulip pickers like Frolic (pronounced frolic not fro-leek)Florida won that trade wait and see.

I think you missed a vowel in Buffs name.........
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

Big Buff was a big lose...I will not argue that and ya everyone knew that it was going to be tough to repeat. The cap era has taken it's first victim and it is my hawks.
We will see what happens over the next few days with my hawks and how they handle the Canucks at home. Lets all not forget that Luongo and Sedins have never won anything and the Hawks own Luongo. It is only a matter of time before the real Luongo shows up!!!

Totally agree buddy, so much love for Vancouver out there. But did anyone watch the first 2 games?? Chicago was in both games and Vancouver has had a lot of luck on their side so far. Hawks win both at home today and tuesday and who knows what could happen.
Last year the Canucks won game 1 and if it weren't for Sharpie's shorthanded goal in game 2 the hawks would have been down 2-0 in that series as well. That is what I love about the playoffs, anything can happen and with the talent Chicago has I laugh at all Canuck backers who call the series after 2 lucky wins by Vancity.

Hey Karkeith, why don't you ask if they like Canada: Brian Bickell, Dave Bolland,Troy Brouwer, Brian Campbell, Jonathan Toews, Chris Campoli, Corey Crawford, Jassen Cullimore, Jordan Hendry, Ryan Johnson, Duncan Keith, Fernando Pasani, Brent Seabrook, Patrick Sharp, Marty Turco, oh yeah Joel Quenville...

A TSN reporter said that teams ahead 2-0 tend to win 80% of playoff series. If the best road team win one game in Chicago, then Chicago would have to win 3-4 consecutive games which is almost impossible against Vancouver.

GO HAWKS GO!!!!
" Hawks win both" Sorry, can't see that happening. Hawks tried hard and still wasnt good enough(last 2 games). So, now you think going back home will get you 2 wins, don't think so. Firstly, in order for that to happen, Luongo will have to shit the bed in 2 straight. Has he done that All year a big No.
Luongo had his let down so to speak last game and will be even more focussed today. Going to be tough for Hawks to score. 1-2 goals past Luongo tops.
Theres just no depth in Hawkville this year, face it and don't be in denial. Your team has heart, but more talent is needed. Nucks will wear the shit out of this team. Period.
And, by the way i backed the Hawks big time last year after the 45+ year drought or whatever it was. Longer than Nucks have been in existence. So, this year its the Nucks turn.
Nucks ONLY got to win ONE in the windy city and home to clean up if the broom doesnt come out that is.

John Scott in the line-up tonight to bring some force to the game. Expect him to lay the smack down on somebody and wake the UC up in a hurry ! We all know he's not much of skater,or for that matter even a very good hockey player....BUT....he will bring some "heavy hands" into the fray tonight !!!
