I bet the Jets that game so I can't agree with you on that one playoff game a few seasons ago.
How can it be the NFL's fault when the Pats division is weak. Once Manning was injured, Houston was given their division. I don't think the NFL planned it that way so how can it be their fault?

who saying its anyone fault ? or the NFL planing things ? i'm just stating this facts the whole league STINKS too many 2-14, 4-12, teams ,
maybe they should look at their Draft structure the bad teams are not catching up quick enough

Some of this is debatable, but as far as this season goes, the Patriot OL (for lack of a better word) certainly stinks--at least so far. Brady could get killed this year if this keeps up. I've spent the pre-season just watching line play, and the Patriots have some of the worst I've seen.

Pats are going to have a bad year, But it has nothing to do with Tom Brady or the skill position players. The O-line is in disarray with hall of fame O linemen retiring and the other two injured, Brady will not get any time to find his weapons, I doubt it can be fixed this season.

Some good points made here but IMO, the offense is tailored to the personnel. He did throw it down the field when he had Moss. You have two TE's like that and a phenomenal slot receiver, you use them accordingly.
And they may have had a cream puff schedule for the most part last year, but they also generally beat people up pretty bad. They lost the SB to a very good Giants team by 4 points.
I think you might want to wait and see how things go this year before starting with the hate so soon. Maybe the league has caught up a bit......but that still hasn't been proven.

Not to mention, people talk about the bad O-line. Of course you're not going to jump in Raiders of yore mode and stretch the field. That requires time.

Mystics post was well thought out and he brings up a few valid points, Only Problem is and forgive me if Im stepping out of bounds here but, Due to his Anti Brady/Anti Patriots posts over the years, It is difficult to take anything he says regarding the pats seriously, Ill be honest here, When I see mystics name, I think to myself YAAAAAAWN, Here it comes, another anti Brady post, Its a shame because as I said He does bring up valid points here, Unfortunately however, His post will fall on deaf ears to those who already know the content before they even look at it.

i hear you, but its a balancing act and the reason i feel it needs to be repeated is when i constantly hear that Brady is the greatest QB ever to play the game , and this ridiculous talk is out there .
and every other QB when talked about they say well he's no Tom Brady , its like every one is delusional , when it comes to this guy ,
the media type cast all these QBs early as winners or losers .and no mater how good or bad they play , they stick with the same thing .
being in their stinky division and the advantage of only having to win two home playoff games every year to have the chance to win a championship
not having won anything the last 7 years has a lot to do with the so called greatest QB to ever play the game .

Since you don't consider Brady the best QB playing since you said he only won one ring in a span of many seasons then I would think you would think the same about Peyton. So who do you think is the best QB in the league right now besides Rodgers? let me guess, it's Eli since he has two rings

You're obviously much smarter and got it all figured out compared to most of us so I'm sure the ref wasn't directly trying to explain to you since you already know it all. He was trying to explain to the rest of us that are asking for a reasonable explanation of the situation.
It's tough to be a ref. Some want a reasonable explanation while others rather not hear it and make their own assumption. So damn if they do and damn if they don't. How can they win.

rings and super bowls in themselves mean nothing to me when its a 3 game championship .
too much is made of Rings , i watch the games and performances of players to know who's good and bad
if kyle williams don't fumble twice , give Alex Smith a Ring and take one away from Eli . See so Rings in themselves mean nothing in I evaluating a QB talent on what i see

Wow this is my new favorite thread . Finally someone with a brain. I've been telling people this exact thing for years now and they look at me like im crazy and jealous. The guy is a fraud, a system qb.
Hello? The only good team these pretenders beat last year were the Cowboys in a game they shouldve have LOST. They lost to the Giants THREE times, Steelers and the lions. Not to mention the game the Ravens blew in the AFC Championship.

Junior- couldn't you also say the same for Ravens if they won the SB and also Giants? Ravens barely got by a rookie QB Houston team. Giants barely made it past SF. SF would have barely made it past Giants.
So what's wrong with Pats barely getting by Ravens. Brady made a mental mistake which turned into an int- if that didn't happen the game wouldn't be that close.
