Call me a square. I'm on the Pats
Why?
Hard to argue.
Any player props caught your eye? Patriot run game will be non existent, so Brady passing props and receivers yardage props should hold some value. Hernandez and Branch should get a few extra looks as Welker and Gronk will get a lot of focus....
Thoughts on parlaying the Giants/Ravens ML this weekend and then rolling over on Balt to win the SB?
If you like Ravens, do you like the under? Giants and over?
Hard to argue.

Train69-
I know you asked VAN his advice and I always look for his take, but for what it is worth- I love the over on Brady rushing yards!! He might be running ALOT this weekend and I see him in a do or die game! He will do whatever it takes to win this game. GOING BIG ON IT!!
Hard to argue.

As far as props - they are kinda off my radar. I wish I had the time and energy to look in to every one - because there has to be edges just based on the pure volume of lines they have to put out - but I dont even look at them.
I wont be doing the parlay / rollover you suggest - but if you are linclined for that type of thing - the way you suggest is the way I would play it. I saw somewhere that I could get 15-1 on a Balt / NYG SB with Balt winnning - but I think I quickly calculated that I thought the true odds if you rolled it over would be probably more like 18-1 (if Balt was a pk in SB). But 15-1 might be closer to a good bet if they are favored in the SB.
I would like the under if anything in NE / Balt - but honestly I can see Balt scoring on NE, so Im not messing with it. Giants O/U depends a lot on weather and the field - if it is a total slopfest - flip a coin.....

Who has a "ghigh potent offense like the patriots"? Maybe the Saints and the Packers? One could make the same argument about the niners then - and they beat the saints.
It is not part of my angle that the Ravens are going to shut down the pats offense. And like I said earlier in the thread - it is uncanny that everyone who talks about this game from a Pats point of view ignores their defense. Why wont the Ravens score 30+ in this game? Seems entirely possible to me.

Also, I guess by that logic you could also say that the Pats have been lucky to not win a single game against a team with a winning record?

It's unreasonable becaue the Pats defense is significantly inproved and have averaged giving up around 21 points/game to offenses at around the Ravens' caliber over the last 7 games.....you must love the over then....If the Ravens put up 30 I'll crap myself....this statement kinda contradicts your argument....

Van you're truly underestimating the Patriots defense here, you might wanna take some points off of Baltimore, where the hell did 30 points come from ?
Like someone just finish saying, you must like the Over..

I backed Denver last week vs the Patriots and could not believe the scheme to defend Brady and company was zone based. Unbelievable that guys get paid to call zone defenses vs a veteran QB like Brady.....and to sit in a 2 deep look giving the TE's a free release off of the line of scrimmage on a bulk of the snaps is beyond my comprehension.
Baltimore won't be as foolish, they will man up and at least challenge Brady to make some quick decisions. I agree with the Baltimore +7.5 pick....Pats defense is paper mache`, statistics over 16 games don't lie....large enough sample size to guage a relative strength of the defense front 7 , and there are yds to be made there.
For what it is worth,I don't agree on the SF pick...... I like that 49ers defense at home, and I think Alex Smith will surprise. Harbaugh has a way of instilling confidence in his Qb's, even Tavita Pritchard played a few big games for him back at Stanford. In my opinion the better defense on home turf with potentially terrible field conditions is the play there.....may even get the number close to a Pk, I expect the line to back up a bit by kickoff.
Balt +7.5

Vanzack- I would like to give thanks for your insight regarding starting up and maintaining offshore and foreign bank accounts in order to transfer money....a few years back I posted a question regarding foreign bank accounts in the general gaming forum and you gave some valuable input on the exact process involved in wiring money internationally. The discussion gave me good place to begin researching the subject in-depth, and eventually things came together nicely. I appreciate the input and help in that regard.

that doesnt mean "I think the Ravens will score 30+". That simply means that I wouldnt be shocked or surprised.

Are you assuming the ravens can put up points ?
REALLY 30 ??.To me this is the lamest prediction i've seen so far, However they must get past a scoring machine team and it's certainly not gonna be easy for the Ravens who could easily squander this opprtunity by making crucial errors..There is no one on baltimore who can match Gronk's athleticism and Hernandez who was effectively used out of the backfield last week in a crazy new look for their offense.
If you think Baltimore can score 30, I think the Pats are capapble of scoring atleast 60

Sir -
SInce I am bound by my oath of friendliness at covers - I am going to try and say this without insulting you:
I did not predict the Ravens will score 30+.
I will leave it to you to re-read what I wrote, and then wrote again above.
And if this is the "lamest prediciton you have seen so far" - well, you just havent been on covers long enough. There are lamer predictions every 5 minutes here. But thanks anyway.
