I don't see Dallas beating the Giants this weekend. I doubt Atlanta can win at the Superdome; although stranger things have happened.
In my opinion, a Giants/Lions matchup will decide where New Orleans goes in the divisional round. If the Saints take care of the Falcons they will likely travel to Candelstick for the divisional round matchup. The Giants/Lions winner (likely) will travel to Green Bay.

Last post came out wrong.
Bottom line, if the Saints beat the Falcons, they will likely play the Niners in SF.

I have the exact numbers in my database, but that looks to be right. I am glad someone realizes that.
Earlier in the week Mike Golic started to say how hard it was to beat a team three times in one season....Mark Schelereth to his credit, jumped in and corrected him.
ESPN and the rest of the media perpetuate this myth of how hard it is to beat a team three times in the same season. It's only rare that teams actually PLAY three times.

Strongly agree. I can't wait for the playoffs. Every Joe Schmo on here will be on the Saints and I will patiently wait for the ML value to be driven up.

Respect your thoughts...I just have a real hard time seeing Dallas win this weekend. If they were to get in, I have an even harder time seeing them win 2 games, let alone three and get to the Super Bowl.

They have had the most adversity because neither have been good enough to win consistently. The Bears are a team that has faced adversity, not the Giants or the Cowboys.
Injuries? I don't think either of those teams have had more injuries than the average team.

"YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS" LeagueCapper I respect your capping expertise but DALLAS is the most overated team in the NFL. Remember on Monday night in thier high dollar stadium they couldn't even score a TD. Dallas sucks big time.

LC - You are what you are as Bill Parcells was famously quoted.
Why is Dallas in this position? Injuries? Nope. They just can't close games against good teams and its been happening since week one.
The Giants can't play defense and its shown since the beginning of the season. They were healthy when they got blown out by Washington, right? Getting blown out by the Seahawks at home? They beat the lowly Rams, Bills, and were extremely lucky to beat the Cards due to a very poor call. They have had a very tough schedule down the stretch, so in that regard, they have faced adversity. perhaps that will toughen them. I can't buy the effect ofthe injuries though, because even when healthy they weren't world beaters.
I will say that I think the Giants could win a game or two in the playoffs. I am positive Dallas cannot. Just my $0.02.

The difference is, the Packers were a much, Much better team than the Cowboys and the Giants too.
SF @ GB is what I think. I think Detroit could give GB a game if the weather was mild. It probably wouldn't be though.
