It was still under thrown big time...Should have been a TD if it was a good thrown ball..Flowers had to stop and wait... Flowers then got a 15 yard penalty on this play and 2-3 plays later..fumbled.....Should have been a TD and then no fumble would have happened..

Want to know why they fired Greg Roman? because they were running the ball too much..They brought in Monken to open up the offense and that they did.......and Lamar Choked and his passing came back to bite him again in the playoffs.

@undermysac Can't believe u blaming Monken...Lamar clearly choked big time..2 HUGE turnovers and numerous missed throws.....Really u blaming the OC????Lamar is the MVP... Monken drew up that trick play to Flowers that he had to wait for a severely underthrown ball...otherwise it's a TD.....Horrible underthrow...Lamar panicking and throwing into triple coverage for an INT when they were on the cheifs 30 yard line mid 4th quarter?...
I believe he was expressing surprise at Monken not running the ball

331 million, well the nfl doesn't care about money that much so they wouldn't want to keep the swift/kelce romance going and get her fans to stay chiefs fans. I'm pretty sure they are a charity not a business. what do I know I am dummy according to the op and others. I remember when jessica simpson generated 300 million in extra money for the cowboys..oh wait that never happened.

He can drop back and still run the ball dumbdumb. It’s called scrambling. He was definitely at the top of the league in Dropbacks since week 11. Had 40+ pass attempts against the rams, 35 against the niners…32 against the chargers…not including the times he ran the ball. Dropped back close to 50 times against the rams. Try again.
And the rams game was the closest game. I’m sure if some of these other teams could’ve scored like the rams did then he would’ve thrown even more like he did that game.

So why didn't the nfl help him get to the Superbowl? They should of kept the $ train moving.

@RXistrash Every play than is a drop back, even on handoffs, the qb "drops back" So, according to your definition, no difference between running plays and passing plays
lmao no dumbdumb. Every play is not a “drop back.”
A drop back is a passing play but it is not going to reflect a passing attempt if the quarterback scrambles and picks up yards. That still counts as a drop back. Got it?

The downfall for them ravens comes down to one thing. It's the MVP title for Lamar. Coach be like....we got an MVP QB so let us shine him some more. We let him take the team to the promise land and we'll show you that he's more than the teams leading rusher. Wrong...
What they did was trying to get Lamar to play like he's a mahomie. They abandoned what makes the ravens the team that they are. Maybe it's a reverse psychology to trick KC defense in thinking that them Ravens are a run first team. Well even if they show you the run and if you still can't stop it, why change up the game plan?
SF will do what them ravens are lacking. CMC will run first to set up the pass. If your first down run gets you 7 to 9 yards, expect a big pass play on second. If incomplete, third down play can be a run to get that first down. Keep dangerous mahomie off the field should be the whiners MO.
Mahomie is still clutch. He only needs 25 seconds to get a TD. #1 QB is mahomie. Everyone else behind him. In this case, Brock is #2 going into the Superbowl.

@lordbettington In total agreement and you made some excellent points.
Hope the sb is a more legit game and we don't see some crap like mcaffrey getting 3 or 4 rushes and shanahan not having a believable explanation why or kelsie going completely uncovered with no one around him on multiple plays. and all the penalties on one team.

Not to bad of a recap and prediction IMO.
nfl_brosuf, i have a question, do you believe LJack, should win MVP, especially over Mahomes or McCaffery?, and if so why (or why not)?

The NFL should change MVP voting from after the regular season to after after the entire season is over. MLB does the same thing, I believe. Playoffs and Super Bowls and World Series' are crunch time. Stupid.
According to the NFL, Mr. October would be Mr. April - September.

Hard to get over the fact that ravens rbs ran the ball a total of 6 times in the game there is no logical explanation for that especially when you are number 1 in rushing in the league.

re: do you believe LJack, should win MVP, especially over Mahomes or McCaffery?, and if so why (or why not)?
but my answer is easy. If I were starting an expansion team or drafting a #1 would I take Mahomes (28 y/o) or Lamar (27)? Easy answer. Is there anyone else I would take over Patrick? No. And I think 100 out of 100 GMs and Owners would agree.
McCaffery is a RB. Not in my top 10. Ahead of all other players I would put Burrow, Stafford, Herbert, Stroud, Love, Allen, then Tyreek Hill, then Lamar, etc.

Harbaugh signed off on a game plan that was going to fail from the start.I don't think he is that stupid, there all making million's and Raven's coaching staff are taking order's from above. It is about MONEY in the end.

There are rules to the game as to how the award is given. There is also a time frame where the game ends. Just like bass fishing tournament. Weigh in at 3pm and whatever you catches after 3pm, even if it's a never heard before a tuna in freshwater, will not count.
So to answer your question, Lamar was the best when time expires. He can collect his trophy and then fool the world and committee that he's a fraud.
Do I think he should get the MVP? No
Then who is the real MVP? Dan gamble Campbell soup. They got to nominate him for coach of the year because he got everyone talking about his unorthodox way of going against what the analytics be saying. It just that his gamble didn't work out right. Now had it did, they wouldn't be talking about him in a negative way. He would then be elevated to become the goat of all coaches. Balls to the walls award.

I have a strange feeling Mike McDonald is gonna leave for the HC job. Regression mode coming. Might finish 9-8, 8-9 next year and miss the playoffs. Gonna play the AFC West, NFC East, Houston Tampa Buffalo..
May have been a down year for AFCW and NFCE but they'll probably be tougher next year. AFC North will still be tough . Their time was now and they had to screw it up ughhh

The point was that the Ravens offense tried to change their identity for this game. They went away from who they are.
