Did not post yesterday TT I figured somebody already posted it or already know to auto play it when they are up against a weak pitcher.
Plain and simple the rockies bats.... fire right now. they are # 1 runs averaged #1 in slugging pct. #1 on base percentage right now.
When they come back down to earth might be during their next series up against the reds or maybe today but I gotta reach in and try and get another big performance from them. I look at their schedule and see alot of their game 3/4 to sweep the series they have lost which is a red flag and most they only hit 2-4 range.
Today they also go up against a LHP and some of their lower scoring games were up against a LHP.
Today might be Texas day to get their runs and possibly win but I cant go against a hotter team and with the number at 4 I am taking the risk.
Rockies are going up against
Harrison a guy that had 18 wins in 2012 got injured and only played 10.1 innings last season due to back and shoulder injuries. Rangers are slowly trying to ease him back in this is his third game.
4.35 ERA
he is 0-2 but he has not given up too many runs mariners hit him for 2 in a 5-6 loss and most recent he gave 3 to the angels in a
3-5 loss.
here is the catch though he let angels get 10 hits in 4 innings
you cant do that with rockies 10 hits might equal 2-4 points maybe more. and then you have the bullpen which rockies usually eat up.
so I like my chances of them getting 4 tonight.
I also look at the pressure harrison is under he knows he is going up against a huge slugging team will this rattle him or can he keep his cool and be lights out. I also gotta look at how many innings they keep him in? only 4 last game obv they dont wanna over work him due to coming back from an injury so who they putting in? they have no info on the line up on baseball-press
that gives even more opportunity for the sluggers to get some runs. off the relief/closers.
I also lean on the over 9.5. when the Total is 9-9.5 the rockies O/U is 6-1. Night games are 16-8 O/U
Morales (rockies) is 4-2 O/U. Alot of different trends that favor the over not saying you can solely rely on them but just something to look at.
they might both drop a dud tonight or the rockies take a night off before heading to cincinnati for tomorrows game.
Morales and harrison two LHP this might possibly be the dud game
I almost wanted to play the rangers TT due to morales pitching.
cat has gave up a ton of runs his past few games.
but I am not sure what is going on with rangers bats lately .. and at 4.5 the books are giving the hook to rangers instead of rockies take that fwiw.
Like I have said many times do not hop off this rockies TT Over chase if they come up short tonight. With a team like this that is their zone and have already hit rangers in the past three games 8 / 12 at coors and 9 yesterday in texas. they might be due for a low game but the over looks more likely for tonight than not.
Odd spot. First bet ever against Colorado.
Colorado has NEVER swept another team. Colorado starter has won 4 straight despite pitching very poorly last 2. Just want to keep it simple here in a spot where they may not show. Remember the 1-5 vs the Mets
