Really don't understand that point of this thread. You're saying there is value on the heat based on what the line was prior to the series.
Public perception changes every single game. It's not the same as it was prior to the series beginning.
And you're talking about a 20 cent difference. Who the hell cares. Thinking way too much.
It's a HUGE difference. The line should be merging down from the 185 average to open the series, not away. And it's a .40 difference in the opposite direction.
Of course if someone wants to make an argument, as they already have, that this is all Parker, fine. But he's in the starting lineup and had a brilliant first half last game, when the exact same argument was being made about his health.

Steals and block shot's will be the difference in who wins this game. MIA did this in game 4, I don't see how the Spurs can match that. Tim D. Has been a no show, since game 1. If he doesn't get a double double tonight with a couple of blocks, this series is over!

Spurs win tonight as dogs, and pinnacle opens them...
(you're gonna bug out Scal....)
+120.
Moral of the story - clearly anyone who liked the Spurs in this game was right on, but anyone who took the +225 series instead of game 5 slowplayed their aces and let 9-10 off hit a gutshot.

INSANE...
Ah well, the money is locked up in a series bet so I can't hit up the Blackhawk/Bruins series (another toss-up) so maybe it's a good thing...

Because someone doesn't agree with you, they don't have a head on their shoulders?
Seems to me you can't accept the facts that changed after the series started: 1) Parker's injury and 2) some players in the Heat squad stepping up. These things are taken into account and there we see the ML change.
What's the point of creating a thread about this? It also looks like you already have your mind set with your opinions and everyone else who challenges it are wrong.

It's not that ridiculous. Parker couldn't get through more than a half last game, Heat are favored again tonight, and games 6 and 7 are in Miami. Go away, dude. You're the worst.

What a strange post to make after the game, a game which pretty much refutes the quoted post's argument, yet he writes 'Ouch' as though I should be offended...with an exclamation point, for a little extra dig that isn't a dig at all since none of that came to pass.
But with some of these posters, up is down and down is up and you can't convince them otherwise.

not so sure because with the series 2-2 (66% of the games remaining are in miami if it gets to game 7) So i think the odds make sense especially with parkers injury which before game 5 seemed a little scary. Even parker himself said it could tear at any moment.

The greatest champion of the past 15 years, and that includes the Patriots, is PLUS MONEY to win the championship up 3-2!!!
The greatest champion with one of the greatest coaches and one of the greatest players and a top 5 pg, and a guy on the wing who is a
Ray Allen/Reggie Miller hybrid in this series, and a magician in Manu and complimentary parts that work perfectly in the Spurs system, with an unparalleled championship pedigree in the modern era, and a team that has never trailed in the finals, is PLUS money because of a guy named Lebron on the other side because 'Lebron won't let them lose."
Math or no math and I know about the math given the ML's in these next two games, THIS positive money ML just like the +225 at 2-2, is INSANE....
I don't think I've ever been baffled by series lines in my life than the ones I've seen in Spurs Heat 2013.
