1st Q Summary: So out of the 7 Cleveland road b2b games, without knowing the lines, it looks like they cover 5 and lose 2. However, one of the losses was on a 4th game in 5 nights (Home/Away/Home/Away).
So now we need to look at how Cleveland performed in the 1st Q against Miami.
Dec 28th @ Clev: 22 to 22 Tied Dec 30th @ Mia: 19 to 26 Mia
This was a home and away for Cleveland. They won at home, and then lost on the road 104 to 95.

Some background on the last game in Miami (per Sportsline):
MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade embraced LeBron James after the final horn sounded, whispering a birthday greeting into his close friend's ear.
Even with that, it wasn't a happy 24th for King James.
Wade had 21 points and 12 assists, Mario Chalmers was 6-for-7 from 3-point range in a 21-point, eight-assist, no-turnover effort, and the Miami Heat dropped James' pro record on birthdays to 0-3 by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-95 on Tuesday night.
"It's sad," James said. "I'm going to cry."
No, he wasn't serious.
But during a scintillating second half, James seemed as though he was
going to put a damper on Miami's collective mood.
Fittingly, he scored 24 of his game-high 38 points after intermission,
almost enough to rally Cleveland from a 16-point deficit -- its largest
of the season. He hit a 3-pointer with 8:55 remaining to get the Cavs
to 78-77, then turned and had something to say to the Miami bench,
something he did often Sunday, when Cleveland erased a 10-point deficit
in the fourth quarter to beat the visiting Heat.
Only this time, Miami got the last word.
A surprising switch to zone defense not only stopped Cleveland's
offense in its tracks, it sparked a 16-3 run over a four-minute stretch
of the final quarter -- the final blow in handing the Cavs just their
fifth loss in 31 games this season.
"We weren't into a nice birthday present this time around for LeBron,"
Wade said. "He got one the other night in Cleveland."

Wade went out with James and his close friends Monday night for a
birthday party, but didn't get a gift. "He's got more money than me,"
Wade said.
Plenty of celebrities were in the seats, including playoff-bound Miami Dolphins Channing Crowder, Joey Porter and Ronnie Brown, actor Jamie Foxx, Dolphins great Dan Marino, Olympic swimmer Dara Torres and singer Kelly Rowland.
For the first time this season, the Heat had 15 healthy players at the morning shootaround. Forwards James Jones (wrist) and Dorell Wright (knee) are working their way back from injuries and aiming to make season debuts in the coming weeks.

How do you think they come out tonight? They just got to bed an hour so ago...saw another thread that they spent last night at the airport (icing issues)...GL man . I have no clue capping Qs.
Hey sorry for cluttering up your thread. I just couldn't contain myself because I liked what I was seeing.
Cleveland has an excellent 1st Quarter record in this situation. They are a good team and start out strong. It sucked to see Miami do well against them in the 1st quarter, however, this is a team that had Marion on it. I have the League Pass, but I don't watch much Miami basketball, so I don't have a good feel for their flow. With that being said....
I do like Cleveland 1st quarter, and will probably put a play in on it. Cleveland knows they start strong in their games, and know Miami did a good job of stopping them in the previous games this year. I think this will provide them with motivation, and LBJ will want to go off.
Does anyone know if this Miami team matches up well with Clev and can shut them down for periods of time? or if its likely... If that is the case, I will tread lightly. If that is not the case, I think Cleveland will be motivated and want to come out strong against Miami.

Again, sorry for going off on this 1st Q tangent in this thread.
I also forgot, this is a 4th game in 5 nights for Clev, so they are 0-1 in this situation.
They will be in this situation again 1 more time this year. Since I am going to play this, if it loses, I will probably be betting against Clev on April 3rd at Orlando. Will also have to see how much the starters play the night before against a Wizards team that will be in the tank.
Bottom Line: I will be playing Cleveland -1 (guess) 1st Quarter for a normal play, maybe 1.5 units. If Cleveland would have been successful when they were in this situation earlier, I would really like this. The nice thing is, if we lose, we will have a nice opportunity to bet against the Cavs when they face Orlando in the same situation.
