It's plain and simple to anyone who knows basketball and to the Non-Biased people here on this forum...The Miami Heat definitely cover Game #1 if the "Best Player On The Planet" stays in that game last night!!! No one can tell me otherwise...The Spurs "didn't" have an answer for Lebron...25 Points, 3 steals, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 of 6 from the Free Throw Line, shooting 53% and 67% from 3 Point Land...
With approximately 7 minutes to go in the 4th Quarter, we didn't see a dominant Spurs team, we saw an average, confused and panicked team in a dog fight with the Miami Heat...
So, congrats to 'ALL" Spurs Backers...
BUT...
For further reference...I still contend that this will be a "LONG" Series...As I said earlier, the Miami Heat match up very well with the Spurs...And I was right, the Spurs didn't know how to stop an attacking Lebron James and shooting lanes were opening up for the defending champs...
Lastly, the Spurs shot a scorching 59% and 52% from 3 Point Land...And if it weren't for Lebron's absence in the 4th Quarter, still wouldn't have covered the number...That is my contention...Do we all think the Spurs will be able to shoot 59% and 52% from 3 Point Land again in Game #2 ???
A resounding "NO"!!!
It will never happen...Miami "WILL" take Game #2...I Am Calling It Now!!!
Game #2...Miami Heat Moneyline !!!

Oldschooled.....
Did you ever think that the reason for all of the Spurs turnovers was due to the tough and active defence the Miami Heat play???
Couldn't be that...
The Spurs haven't faced a defence like this all playoffs long!!!

I believe that "BOTH" teams exerted a ton of energy in last night's game!!! Advantage to "No One"...
But in Game #2, I expect to see a bit more of Miami's High energy guys out on the court.....Birdman, Battier and Cole.....These 3 play with a ton of energy and will be just what the doctor ordered for Game #2.....I believe that Spolstra will rotate players more frequently, reducing the possibility of this cramping from happening again...And all of this talk about Miami being an old team is garbage...Lebron is in the best shape of any player out on the court...4% body fat, tons of endurance, strength and a heart of a champion...The Heat will feed off of Lebron's Game #2 performance...Wade and Bosh will be more active, to take some of the pressure off of Lebron and I expect Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis to come up "BIG" from 3 Point Land...
Sorry Spurs fans, the turnovers will continue and say goodnight to the 59% shooting and 52% from 3 point land...It Ain't Happening!!!

I also for got to add that the Heat will be well rested for Game #2.....They will have Thursday, Friday and Saturday night to sleep, get properly hydrated and rested.....
And if anyone has travelled with a team, they know that the team trainers and dieticians will have the Heat ready to go...They will suffer "NO" ill effects from Game #1.....

Liturgy-Of-Fade.....
As I said, I believe that we will see a more active Bosh and Wade in Game #2.....You have to remember that the Miami Heat run their Offence through Lebron James and it is quite hard to flip the switch late in the 4th quarter of a game and try to use Wade as the go-to-guy, when Lebron has been the catalyst offensively for most of the 4 quarters.....
Wade will attack in Game #2...We will see a lot of easier baskets for Lebron because of Dwayne Wade's activity Offensively...Their will be a lot more open looks for the Heat...That's why I believe Lewis and Allen will both have Big Games!!!
The wild card will be Chris Bosh...If he can play a simple yet effective game, like he played in Game #1...Miami wins by 5 to 10 points.....
The planets are aligning for the Miami Heat in Game #2.....

Nice insight...There is only so may adjustments that a team can make...These teams know each other very well and I expect Miami's Defence to keep extreme pressure on the ball...Maybe even a little bit of trapping like they did against Indiana, take away easy passing lanes, continue to stay very active and above all...I believe the Spurs turnovers will continue.....
Secondly, both of these teams are so good that it will be very difficult for either team to win Back-To-Back Games in this series.....
Don't be shocked when Miami Wins Game #2...There is a lot of basketball left to play!!!

So True.....
It is always easier to play an Offensive game when you don't have to expel energy on the defensive end of the court.....
Very Good Point!!!
