After what we've seen in the last 2 games? The way they shut down Lakers' 2 bigs? Cmon, it shouldn't have been more than 4 points as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, because of the 2-3 points difference to put al I've got? Not in the world. This is absolutely a value bet because I think that Nuggets might even win this one SU, and keeping it close till the end should be an must-do thing for them.

There is actually pretty equal action on it. I've talked some of my friends in California that really follow the Lakers and they say the road ends here. LA has more than enough to beat Denver at home in Game 7. It is just a matter of question will they produce. Kobe will single-handedly try to win this one if Bynum and Gasol are no-shows again. 50 points for him is not out of the question. I actually look forward to that prop bet. The probability that Lakers lose three straight is not very good in most peoples eyes. Metta World Piss? I don't know if he really changes anything too much. He's not really a guy you gameplan for even if he had been playing all series. Sure he's another fresh body - but throwing him into the mix at this point when he hasn't played a game in this series seems like a risk to me. It could work out, or it could be very disastrous because he hasn't gotten the in-game experiences and emotions the other players have.
However this Denver team is really pissed off at Kobe after the flagrant the other night and I expect the Nuggets to come at him with some extra animosity tomorrow night.

Nuggets all the way
it makes total sense, the books want even action, if Lakers were -4 then a shitload of money would go on the lakers.. PLUS, you really think the lakers wont get the calls in their home arena in a game 7???
I really want the Nugs to win but Lakers game 7 at home, it will be very hard. Nuggets will have to play a brilliant game here, a ton of factors are against them including the refs. NBA would love an OKC/Lakers series!!! Im not saying it is rigged on purpose but the lakers home court/kobe star power will effect the refs. Stars get calls, it is like that in probably all sports.

My opinion is that 1st 15 minutes might be decisive. If any team trails at that point by 10+ it will be a real mountain to climb.
@Moneyhot: Well, I don't think that Nba really wants Lakers - Nuggets. I think that story with Nuggets detting the job down after being 3-1 down and all those injury problems throughtout the season is a great one. That Lakers shit is gettin old and after all, they are not anymore the only playoff team in town so LA doesn't need them that much anymore. You've got younger and more atractive team in Clippers.
@Mikado: I totally agree with that Kobe bet. He'll get as many shots as he wants to.

Forget this series you never know if the nuggets are going to shoot 99% and if the Laker bigs are going to come up small. Wild card is Ron Artest but im done with this series...

Actually I think if the line was set at -3.5 you would have a lot more action on Nuggets based on how their performance was last night. People would react to that line and think, wow Lakers might have really put themselves in a bind. Also it would create the perception that the Nuggets would be a lot more likely to win this game. At -6, people are almost thinking, okay Game 7, no way the Lakers come up flat based on their history and Kobe. This is the real opportunity to close out and play their hardest. While all of that is somewhat valid, what cannot be denied is that the Nuggets have simply been outplaying the Lakers. Are the Lakers the better team? Yes. Are they playing like it? No. I think anything can happen and if the Lakers do win, I do not think it will come close to DD. I am very interested in seeing the ref assignments for this one.
