based mostly on officiating. If any of these posters who think the
league is not rigged/fixed/manipulated i am proof that it is.
If
hitting 77% for 3 consecutive seasons in the finals (basing all plays
on ref stats, history & tendencies) can't convince any of you that
the league is corrupt........then there's nothing anybody can do to make
you people wake up.

I was not able to finish up counting my stats after last seasons finals. This was the last thing i wrote at around page 25 in last seasons playoffs thread:
I remember not ending it too well in the final game.
This will be the 1st season in some time where i have not been watching & observing much NBA. So busy w/ kids, coaching, working etc. But i feel i must continue the work i've been doing in the playoffs & see if i can still hit a high percentage of plays based on officiating.
The next play i do will be only the 2nd this season. Will post once im done.

Small sample size this early into the post season so take with a grain of salt. Always do your own research & go with your own gut/instincts. I'm warning people also that i have not been following much NBA this season. Furthermore I have no real feel for these playoffs in regards to league agenda etc. like i did in the past playoffs. Tread carefully.

Refs for CLE/IND are 3-1 these playoffs for the home team. (Danny Crawford, Tony Brown, Ron Garretson)
Play:
IND +2.5
The bomber is back! Where were you when I needed you for that 2nd Clippers game. I have stupidly stopped looking at ref assignments, but they are very important during the playoffs. Interestingly, you can't count on these guys to ref the same way every year: they can and do change their stripes:) Compare, for example, how Foster favored all the home teams (I think) during the playoffs a couple of years ago but then switched it up last year. It all depends on what the league wants to see happen.
But I gotta say, the NBA is getting greedy (so watch out): now they want to have their cake and eat it too. What do I mean? Teams that are in historically favorable spots to win and cover (because it is the NBA's best interests to extend the series) are winning but not covering (e.g., game two of Raptors and Clippers). Keeping these games close keeps viewers/gamblers watching, though the outcome is never in doubt.

Spot on! Refs have diff records each playoffs. Why it's useless to research on past PO records to determine plays. But saying that have found some instances, especially in the finals, where past results had same patterns. Just gotta have a good feel & pick your spots. Finals though is where it becomes far more easier to read.....or in the later stages of the playoffs such as Conference Finals.

I really liked this play. 1st half the pick looked like money until Indy sh*t the bed in the 2nd. But we still had a shot deep in the 4th......
......That no call on drive on PG cost Pacers 5pts in a close match. Should have been a foul on Frye. It was clear as day. 3 refs and non of them could see it?
I believe we were on the right side. But these big come backs can get officiating to switch sides as i've observed in the past.

We move on. Next play up later tonight.
0-1 Round 1
Yes, and how could they resist? A historic comeback that will generate buzz for the league, the playoffs, and the networks trumps extending the series by a game any day. The refs could have easily stopped the Cavs momentum with a couple of fouls here and there, but instead they swallowed there whistles!
