Vegas just wants even money on both sides and they feel the # is correct for the game. For me it's a no play or a TB ML.

this is an old myth about how Vegas operates sportsbook, it is wrong and I can prove it to you, Friday Night the books opened the Indians @ Athletics game with the Athletics has a +100 yet somehow even though the public was pounding the Indians with 76% of the money the Indians eventually moved from a overnight open of -110 all the way to at gametime a +100, if Vegas wanted even money they would have been moving that line up to Indians -120 and on, scenairo number 2, Saturday Night the public was pounding the Mariners for their matchup in Baltimore, now even though the public was pound the M's the M's moved from a -110 all the way down to a -102 at first pitch. Vegas wants even money on games they aren't sure of but the majority of them they set out their traps for the public to bet at. Now I will end this longwinded response by saying Vegas does lose sometimes, they don't win them all, but they win far more then they lose

even though you don't know what i look at, you are already telling me what i am looking at, got to love covers. i don't use SI like most on here, i use sports.com, which used to say at the bottom that the percentage they give is the percentage of MONEY that was being wagered on that team, they have since took that blurb out but i have confirmed with them that it is still that. as for this game the early and keep in mind this is very earlier number is 61% of the cash has come in on the Rays for tommorrows game. that could very well change but it is what it is right now.

it is not something that is easy to find but it is on the website, it used to say the % of money in a little blurb, now it doesn't but when i talked to them they said it still is, they do that to entice the average joe into taking whatever else is, they kinda use it as a if you are new to betting, see what others are betting so you can be a winner too
