I only bet on pre-season with small stakes, it makes the games some more fun to watch. I don't even care if I do lose a couple a stakes, I'm not in for the big money in pre-season.

Keifer you not looking at the true aspect of ST as i have wagered in it for the last 5 years and have records regarding how plays go both win and loss and in almost all cases you will find LARGE win streaks and Large loss Streaks after about the first full week and its a nice bankroll builder for the season
Toronto went on an 18 game win streak in 2012 and had you followed them each day you would had a nice bankroll come 2012 Season
Royals in 2-13 went on a 10-0 and 8-0 win streak in 2013 St and was another good streak play
I can Guarentee you we will have one or two so the same in 2014 so just keep a watch on games and see if i am not right
i have all this posted in my thread
GL in 2014
Any teams you have an eye on to ride or fade. Seattle looks nice I think they are capable of stringing a 8-10 game win streak together.

It has not become anything different than it ever was. When you have an open public forum with no membership restrictions and very few enforceable rules you are going to draw every range of intellect, angle, discipline (or lack of it), method or system possible. That is what it is. It has never been anything else. If you don't like a particular type of action, like ST MLB, stay away or ignore the picks. Most folks really don't care what you choose to do. Your money, your choice.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Wow, I am shocked by some of the naïveté in this thread. Gambling is a type of investing for those who know what they are doing and for those who did not have a gambling problem.
What is the key to investing? Well Michael Douglas told us all in the movie, "Wall Street" that the key is "INFORMATION!"
Preseason baseball gives bettors more information than just about any other betting opportunity. Not only will you be able to identify huge lineup disparities, you will often know the exact rotation of pitchers to be used and sometimes what key players did not travel for that game and are unavailable.
Now think about that. You can find situations where one team uses it's "A" lineup and it's real rotation of roster pitchers versus a team using mostly minor leaguers and bench players while several stars aren't even at the game.
Better yet, if situations like these ever arose during the regular season, you would often lay -200 to -280, yet in preseason, the lines are typically -110 to -135.
Yes, preseason with all things being equal, is unpredictable and betting on it would be like buying a lottery ticket, but with proper research, it becomes one of the most predictable and profitable events of the year for me. I have profited every year I can remember playing exhibition baseball.
Similarly, people laughed when I posted NBA Summer League wagers. yet it's another time when research provides a huge advantage based upon INFORMATION. There are huge roster disparities and information available as to key players who won't play. After I went 23-6, th skeptics disappeared.
So those saying betting preseason sports is stupid, don't seem to understand one of the simplest principles of gambling. Anytime you have an information advantage, you have a winning formula of success.
