si1ly, i posted in here before and it seems like every time i try to help consult people i get arrogant responses back or even ignored. i don't care if you believe me or not at this point, i work in a casino in Las Vegas, a pretty major one, and do NOT gamble. thus i am just giving advice based on knowledge which it seems everyone just leaves on the table.
i am not sure you have a good grasp of the 1st half betting style as it seems as though they always seem to lose for you. moreover, you are taking unmotivated teams that might very fit into your system but are not going anywhere this year. today is a perfect example of the Royals that you thought we had made even money b/c of the trade or to get people onto the Red Sox. turns out more money came in on KC than Boston, a sure sign that Boston would come out motivated and win the game.
it's the end of the year, as I am sure you know from previous years that means certain teams have nothing to play for. numbers can say one thing but psychology supersedes all of that data. there are many people who tail you and really respect your advice. take these points into account when selecting your team because while you might not ask others to follow, they do and they too lose money, sometimes lots more than you do.
do what you want with this, think what you want, but just know i'm trying to help right your ship because right now you are not seeing things clearly. in fact, i don't think i've seen many people on here suggest the ORIOLES ever, and they are the best bargain these days based on what i stated before; motivation and composition.

Miami +1'? Heavy action on Dodgers with the trade.
Thought about it. If I were to place another bet tonight it would be on Miami. But I feel like if I do anything it'll be chasing, so I'm going to going to wait for greener pastures on the other side of the day. Hopefully Sunday has more to offer for me. Good luck with what you decide.

Yeah LAGOI, I did second guess myself a bit during the day when I considered what it meant betting against a team that the public just thinks gave up on their season. But I felt the bet was supported well enough in the sabrmetrics to justify the play regardless of the trade x-factor. I saw Guthrie as having good numbers in recent play and Cook as one of the worst pitchers in Boston's rotation. Furthermore, I felt the Royals had the better line-up. It was enough to have a stab at it, even if it was a publicly sided wager.
As for your sentiments on my first 5 inning strategy I think I do just fine on them. I've mixed them into my threads all season and I've placed over 170 wagers above 60%.. I find it hard to believe that I have a losing record with any type of bet. I'm over 30 games above .500.
I am also well aware of the psychological factors in sports. I do not feel that the Twins or the Royals have given up on their season. Perhaps you are unaware that the Twins have two of the top 7 offensive players in the American League in the top of their line-up? Or that the Royals just swept the White Sox a week ago? I appreciate you sharing your thoughts though, I will be sure not to forget to consider motivational angles when making my plays in the future.

i like and appreciate your response. i know about all of your points which are justified. the Royals for some reason have the White Sox number which is strange. since i dont' know your record please don't think i am disrespecting you or bashing you or whatever others say. just trying to help out based on a fortitude of experience. as i said in my earlier postings, the ORIOLES are never being selected even though they win practically every extra inning and one run game. there is definite value to that.

Funny how the cockroaches come out when you're losing.
I've lost almost 70 times this season. It's nothing new to me or anyone that considers my insights in their selections. If the trolls had any sense at all, they would know that losing doesn't phase me one bit at all. I have a long term mindset. I expect to lose sometimes. I just hope it's less often than I win! Which of course I'll be looking to bounce back and do tomorrow!

I have to agree with him about the Orioles. A lot of people, myself included, just can't seem to look at them as a good team. Maybe it's the pedigree. Maybe it's the negative run differential despite their winning record. Whatever the case, I'm ready to admit I was wrong about them because they just seem to find ways to win.

They're showing advanced metrics that would suggest they would be a good team to fade NEXT season. But this season, they might just continue their fortunate ways.

i decided to pass since i felt that Gonzales might do something like he did in the first inning

The guy is an MVP. He's in a select few current players that I would put in the category of pure hitter. He has a beautiful baseball swing. As a Sox fan, I'm very disapointed to see him go. But as someone who is familiar with baseball as a business, I understand the decision and I hope the Red Sox can start the rebuilding process around Pedroia, Ellsbury and Middlebrooks. We certainly have the money to start making those moves now.

silly, i'm surprised you haven't been on the A's more, you're not a value bettor but are good at finding live doggies, any reason why you've stayed away from them? although they were priced in the 160s for a while

I thought the A's offense was due for a little regression in the Trop and I don't want to fade the Rays pitching staff. It's the best in the American League.
