Winning percentage doesn't matter at all when betting baseball......you can hit below 50% and be profitable.......you can also hit 58% and lose money......it is irrelevant.

That is possibly the worst advice you could give to a man who is already down a shit ton. Chasing is dangerous as is.
Much like what mmac66 said, winning rate is irrelevant in sports betting if you do not manage your bankroll. The whole 60% shit is relevant if you are consistently betting on odds of ~1.80 and so on and so forth.
These people have already recommended what you should do. The bottom line is if you can't control your bankroll, you shouldn't be gambling. One can go 7-3 for the week and make a shit ton whereas the other can lose everything by having the same record.
Also, if you are investing over 150k like that dude in the earlier post.. that's just bad investment in my opinion. Sure, there are some people that do this for living, but we are talking about a very small percentage.
Losing streaks are inevitable. No one can go positive every single day. Know when you are cold and take a couple of days off from gambling. Paying for sex can be a better option if you can resist the temptation of gambling.
