Shepherd you can't compare this WVa team to the teams you mentioned. They play two totally different types of football. WVa is a run first pass second team while the teams you mentioned are pass first run second. Colorado has to prepare totally different for WVa. But I expect Pat White to play a lot more like he did in week 1. Colorado has concerns in the defensive backfield that were exposed by Eastern Washington QB Matt Nichols. He threw for 303 yards and was sacked just once in 51 attempts. If White gets similar time, he’ll either find ways to get the ball to sprinters Noel Devine and Jock Sanders in space or run for first downs himself.
WVa also gets back its senior leader on defense in Reed Williams. He may not be 100% but he'll put guys in the right positions to make plays.
Big East has been horrible this year and the Big 12 has been great. But the Big East goes to 2-0 on the week against the Big 12 tonight.
