Did you hear? The entire Central Michigan team has swine flu...and a broken ankle...and aids. Ohio in a rout! Trust me, I have inside info.
To those interested: this is just afasamoan under another name.
(1) Chipawas are not home - neutral site (but it is in Michigan).
(2) Game is in a dome
(3) Ventrino, Freemal and Martinez are not real players.
Mods, can't you ban this guy by is IP address or something like that?

yes please mods... i hate to think this guy is actually costing people money with his misinformation...
tcrotejr... i like the way you're thinking... should be within 10 points of the spread, and a good chance of catching both sides of the teaser...
this game almost always goes over the total... people always make the mistake of thinking this game is going to be played in bad weather, because they don't realize it's in a dome... so the total never seems to be set where it should...

oh yea, by the way... this guy is right! i remember people making this same stupid mistake last year...
the MAC championship game is NOT played on CMU's home turf... it is played indoors... but maybe the Ohio RB will have cold air pumped into the stadium so he doesn't feel any pain...

Guys, looks like Scott will play, but on a bum ankle. I have yet to see anyone mention that LaVon Brazill prob will be out. He is a very versatile player, that adds a lot of wrinkles to Ohio's offensive play calling. He has rushed the ball 11 times avg 7.2 a pop. He is 2-2 throwing the ball ang 27 a pop there and one went for a TD, and, oh yeah, he is their second leading receiver with 49 receptions for 670 yds and 6 TDs. So basically everytime this dude touches the ball, he's good for about 13 yds. He's also their punt returner. And has a 91 yarder this year.
He is listed as questionable with a leg injury. I'm trying to find out more.
That 9-2 ATS mark for cent mich is pretty dope.
Cent Mich play
38-21

Ok, lets look at the Chipewas first. Below is their MAC schedule with each team’s MAC record. Central Michigan played only three teams with a MAC record of .500 or better (I have included the results of these games). What strikes me is that, though everyone has the impression that they crushed other teams, when they played good teams, they stayed two touchdowns or closer. And they never played the 2nd and 3rd best MAC teams – Temple and Ohio.
Akron 2-6
Buffalo 3-5
E Michigan 0-8
W Michigan 4-4 (won by 11)
Bowling Green 6-2 (won by 14)
Toledo 3-4
Ball Sate 2-6
N Illinois 5-3 (won by 14)
On to Ohio... They played FOUR teams at .500 or better. And, while they did lose to Kent State (everyone has an occasional bad game), they played all the good teams tough.
Bowling Green 6-2 (won by 7)
Akron 2-6
Miami (Ohio) 1-7
Kent State 4-4 (lost)
Ball State 2-6
Buffalo 3-5
N Illinois 5-3 (won by 7)
Temple 7-1 (won by 18)
Seems to me that you have a team which
Ø thinks they can just show up to win (because they have),
Ø is favored by the biggest margin by which they’ve beaten good teams, and
Ø has a shaky D (gave up 31 to N Illinois last week)
against a team that
Ø is an under-rated dog,
Ø has shown that they can hang with, and beat, the best in the MAC, and
Ø has learned to score (27, 38, 35 in their last three)
Don’t know if they can win, but give me

That Temple team without their starting back, Bernard Pierce, isn't the same team that beat Navy...so you can't count the win as a quality win

"LaVon and Theo did not practice Sunday, and right now I'd say they are questionable," coach Frank Solich said yesterday. "It's a little bit of a wait-and-see game, and that's all I'm going to say about that. We're going to get a few guys back. Ideally, you'd like to get them all back. That's not going to be the case."
In the first half of a 35-17 victory over Temple on Friday, Tafua reinjured a shoulder and Brazill suffered a knee injury.
Doesn't look like we're going to get much.
