I'm going to follow up my own comment because I left information out. The stache never should never have been promoted above being a defensive coordinator. As a Chicago Bears fan this guy gave me years of anguish, he is simply terrible as a football tactician, but his team always played hard for him, he can motivate. I don't think it was wrong to fire The Stache but to do it before the season was over was dumb.
I know how you feel bro... My Dolphins are still feeling the damage he left behind during his time.

Kentucky's Defensive line is healthy and has more depth with Mr. Cobble rotating in. This will be his first game back and he may be a NFL prospect in the next 2 years.
Newton Starting and rotating with Cobb, without Hartline's ability to spread the field, the Cobb and locke show will be on. Small plays equal Tic-Toc.
Coaching Change at Pitt doesn't help that much because the offensive and defensive cord are the same. But a little less pump or reason to play.
I see alot of feild goals, and a stong field position game. Good luck, I have no clue who wins this game.

The way the SEC teams have been drubbing teams out of their conference I'm taking Kentucky +3.5. What would Kentucky's conference record be in the Big Least, it certainly wouldn't be the 2 and 6 it was in the SEC. The money line (+162 at matchbook) looks sweet too but I already made my 5% of bankroll max bet on the +3.5.

Seems like teams that are losing their head coach, are the play in Bowl Games this year. Since I've been going opposite that trend and getting crushed I figure I might as well go the whole nine yards.

PITT -4 for me. Wanstad coached the players right up to putting them on the plane. It will be a good thing that he isn't there to make bad on the field calls. Kentucky is doo doo this year.
I think the players use the game to refocus on next year and as a tryout of sorts for whoever ends up coaching in 2011.
Pitt would be an excellent job for the right guy. I just don't think they want to pay for the best.
I would say hire...
Rich Rod, Mike Leech, Tom Bradley
They will probably go for a coordinator or coach from Tulsa or Florida.

I agree with chas. To repeat....Kentucky backup has experience.... this from last year....Hartline suffered a season ending injury in the fifth game of the year, a loss at South Carolina that left Kentucky 2-3 on the season.[3] Newton then became the starter and led Kentucky to a 5-2 record in its final seven regular season games, which enabled Kentucky to play in the 2009 Music City Bowl.[4] In only a half season of play, Newton completed his true freshman season completing 75 of 135 passes (55.6%) for 706 yards and 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, good for a 109.71 quarterback rating. Does this sound like a guy who cant play????? Plus they have a good rb and Randall Tex Cobb at WR. Pitt lost their stache. Kentuckyfor the large!

Public money has predicted the last EIGHT bowl games (only the two early games on the 1st went against the public money). Vegas must be taking a bath. The madness has to end !
