Dave Sittler of the Tulsa World writes that Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden's thumb injury could be worse than the QB -- and head coach Mike Gundy -- is letting on.
For starters, some of Weeden's teammates think he is downplaying the amount of pain he's in as a result of the injury, which occurred when he hit his throwing hand against a helmet during the team's Week 1 contest against Washington State. Weeden played but struggled at times in Week 2 vs. Troy, occasionally having trouble gripping the football.
If Weeden has to sit out at any point, the Cowboys are pretty thin behind him, with redshirt freshman Clint Chelf and true freshman Johnny Deaton having thrown a combined seven passes in their collegiate careers. Until the injury completely heals -- it is his throwing hand, after all -- there will be cause for concern in Stillwater. The Cowboys will have to put up plenty of points to hold off high-scoring mid-major Tulsa this weekend.

as far as Miss St/LSU goes, I stated a few times in this thread that I'm tailing MaineRoad with that game, I don't have much of an opinion concerning that matchup
in regards to the card, I often times bet many games early (don't post all of them), I also drop and add plays during the week on the reg
it isn't my fault I have a big following, I certainly never asked for it and I didn't have a good year last year so it would seem my following wouldn't be as big, guess they have faith in me for some reason
I don't really worry about how I'm viewed nor do I feel a responsibility to the forum as far as my card goes each week, I don't get money from anyone here, I post my stuff for free each week and have since 2004, I do it for the interaction and the challenge of trying to put up winners on a consistent basis, I feel that it helps to keep me on my toes
I try my best to answer any questions concerning games that others have bet or wish to bet, I'm a busy person during football season and I do the best I can to be patient with everyone around here
all I have done is narrow down my card to the highest grade selections, I always had Navy, Utah St. & Ok St on the card so I kept more than 15%, I only have 6 of my own plays in total on the card
best of luck this week
