Thoughts through 10 Weeks
I have been a mental midget this season, for the first time ever I have read this forum to much and allowed the thoughts of others to dictate myself making or dropping plays. This is something that someone like me can't do and after this week I have realized where I have gone wrong this year, too bad it is probably too late for me this season to adjust, back to being a quiet asshole next year though without much forum reading and zero explanations regarding games
TCU absolutely smashed a very solid Utah bunch in their home environment, that was more than impressive. Utah could do nothing for the second consecutive year against the Horned Frogs, they move up to 2 in my polls after that performance
Oregon took most of the game off against the Huskies, still covered the spread and still put up over 50 points, best team in the country and the most fun to watch, end of story
LSU beat Bama and I'm not shitting you when I type that Les Miles outcoached Nick Saban because indeed he did, the Tigers still aren't a top team but they did get Alabama out of the National Title picture and put themselves back in the mix. Bama has been very beatable on the road this year and LSU just exposed that weakness even more in my opinion
Stanford is very well coached and they have a smart QB, their lone loss at Oregon means nothing in the grand scheme of things because only Oregon could win in Eugene this year, the Cardinal continue to move up in my rankings and Harbaugh continues to put himself at the top of the list for the next big job available
did I really bet Hawaii against Boise? I'm an idiot for that and in the back of my mind I knew that was a losing proposition from the start, the little devil in the back of the head kept saying "don't do it" but I did anyhow, what a travesty Hawaii's defense is
losing the OU/A&M over was the hardest bet of the week for me to take, I watched that game and OU couldn't score from the goal line in about 15 tries, what a joke their play calling was in the game, Stoops has lost his touch, his team plays down to their competition, that A&M team they just lost to is mediocre at best
Kansas State smashed the Longhorns, what on earth has become of Texas, with 4 and 5 star recruits all over the field they just get worked by the week, many people always say that Mack is a great coach, I have always thought he was overrated and Vince Young just made him look good, the Texas fans around here like to argue that with me but it is my opinion and this year's team is proving me more right than wrong
Mizzou should be eager to get back home, nice loss to the worst Texas Tech team in almost a decade, Pinkel is Pinkel, that says quite alot
UVA loses to Duke, if you lose to Duke in any sport that is physical then something is bad wrong, if Maryland rolls into C Ville this weekend and beats the Cavs then that will be enough for me
I knew NC State would be a good bet against that worthless offense at Clemson, yet I passed up a free winner once again, shoot me now please, the Noles should rebound this week with a win over that same Clemson team
more thoughts later, time for wagering, as always, I'm not proof reading this so excuse the many typos
