3 losing weeks in a row have pretty much depleted any bankroll i had built up
2-3 last week -3.9 units
Some notes around the SEC - didn't get to watch many games this weekend due to helping cook 10 slabs of ribs, 5 chickens, 5 pork tenderloins, 10 pounds of wings at our tailgate. And by helping cook i mean drinking beer and watching all the pretty coeds go by while standing in close proximity to the grill.
1. Steve Spurrier thank you for taking the safety with 4 seconds left instead of just tossing the ball as far down the field as possible to run the clock out. I understand the play but in the words of ESPN..."Come on Man" haha
2. USC what do you do now???
3. Auburn continues to surprise and Florida continues to disappoint.
4. Clint Mosley looks like Auburn's new QB.
5. Bama and LSU are machines that can't be stopped
Hopefully going to get things back on track this weekend. Good luck to everyone this week.

LSU wins this weekend but not by three TDs...closer than the experts think. Auburn run game will equalize his one and Auburn's D will show up. Just IMO

Well Killa, I don't think it gets easier this week. So many points in the SEC games. Bama -28.5 against Tn. That looks about right, but if there is anything the Vols can do, they will. There isn't much love in that rivalry. LSU by 22.5 over Auburn. Even in Death Valley that looks like a lot. Arkansas by 17.5 over Ole Miss......has Houston Nutt forgotten how he ended up at Ole Miss? Would it matter if he hadn't? Vandy by 8.5 over Army. Why wasn't this Vandy's HC? I'll take Vandy anyway. So, guess I'll have to wait for the totals, because Auburn and Vandy are the only SEC lines that appeal to me, and I don't really like Vandy that much.

Im in a pool with some guys and we have 15 games each week with a locked line that comes out tuesdays. and its always loaded with SEC games....and Auburn and Tenn. are getting alot of points and be honest i like alot of underdogs this week....

CP - i like Auburn + the points. With that being said i was in Baton Rouge two years ago when LSU dismantled Auburn to the tune of 33 to 3 or something like that. Hope Auburn can put up some sort of fight.
Atlanta - I like Vandy too. Good call on Georgia last week should have listened to ya.
Elite - good luck with your pool man. I think I'll probably be backing auburn with you. I just can't bring myself to bet against bama right now.

Austin - I would tread lightly there. I am not very good at totals but I have this Auburn/LSU game capped at LSU 31 to 17. Both teams have the ability to create points via special teams, and LSU's defense can score in a hurry as well. Defensive TD's and special teams TD's always spell trouble for an under play. Good luck with your play though

22 seems like a high number .... but then again who has Aurburn stop on defense .. nobody .. a beat up and tired Florida team ... dont see them scoring on that LSU defense more the 10 pts since they cant throw the rock .... this could get ugly so if you aint taking LSU why not find a better game!!

LSU's defense has been dominate all year long allowing only (4 yds/play and 11 pts/game) However in the past two games they have allowed over 100 yds rushing and have shown they can be suceptible to the short passes (screens and quick hitters) which is how WV racked up 450 passing yds on this team.
Auburn's offense vs LSU's defense
Auburn is starting a new QB this week in Clint Mosley. He replaced Barrett Trotter in the second half of the Florida game last week and made some pretty good touch passes and reads. No doubt he will struggle with LSU's blitz intensive schemes. Auburn's o-line is going to have to play their best game to date to give Mosley any chance at all. Malzan knows his offensive line is weak so it will be a lot of 3 step drops/quick reads in hopes of keeping his qb upright and catching LSU out of position in a blitz package.
With all that being said about the QB situation. Mike Dyer will be key to this game. He has become a more physical style runner since the season began, and thats exactly what he needs to be against this hard nosed defense. Dyer will carry the ball 20+ times in hopes to set up Mosley with some play action opportunities. If Dyer can rush for 100, Auburn should be able to eat up enough clock to stay within the number.
LSU's offense vs Auburn's defense
Auburn's defense has seen dramatic improvements since game one. However they have not seen an offense this physical yet. Against the physical rushing attack of LSU you need a good d-line and a very good linebackers. Auburn's d-line is good to a certain extent. Their linebackers are not good. They struggle in space to make tackles and typically end up "catching" running backs instead of exploding through them. I'm really just looking for Auburn to load the box and trust their secondary. T'sharven Bell on Rueben Randle will be a good matchup. Randle is obviously more talented but Bell runs/tackels well and should be able to keep big plays to a minimum.
Auburn should be able to slow LSU down enough to keep them under 5 touchdowns, and their offense should be good for two touchdowns. The final should read something like LSU 31 Auburn 17.
I think I may take Auburn first half if i can get a decent number. LSU has struggled to get going lately.

teaser - this is Auburn's national championship and for LSU this is just another stop in the road to November 5. I'm hoping the both teams focus on running the ball will bleed clock long enough to get the cover. Good luck this week
atlanta - always glad to be on your side
trackem - I'm a homer as well. I rarely bet on Auburn with the exception of last year i bet them every game. This just feels like a spot where LSU is taking them lightly and Auburn will come in juiced. Mosley looked so much better in the pocket last week. Standing tall, actually reading the defensive end of the zone read play and keeping the ball, and the over the shoulder toss to Lutz was right on the money. Hope he can make a pass or two like that saturday.

Hearing some rumblings that Mathieu, Ware, and Simon will be suspended Saturday... Don't know for sure if it's true, but getting the line at 22-23 is big

This is Arkansas's second road game of the season, and I'm sure they are looking for a better performance than the one they put up in Bryant Denny. With the exception of that Bama game Arkansas has avg over 6.5 yds/play. Ol Miss is avg 4yds/play and just got demoralized at home by Alabama. I'm really betting this game more on my perception of teams than anything else.
Arkansas wants to show it belongs in the SEC west division. To do that you beat up on the weaker links. This coupled with the fact that Bobby Petrino likes to run the score up points me to Arkansas
I like betting against teams the week after they have played Alabama/LSU. Because these are big physical teams that beat ppl up. It takes more than a week to get over the nicks and bruises that these guys put on ppl.
Arkansas is coming off a bye week. More rested better prepared
Arkansas should put up as many as they want against this tired Ol MIss defense.

As for the safety last Saturday... Everyone in the stadium was saying he's about to do that... You could definitely tell who had money on the game haha... I hate it for everyone on S. Carolina because I've been on the wrong end of games like that a lot this year... But in all honesty, MSU covered the whole game... and should've won... But they didn't take advantage of a lot of big opportunities... Like I said, it sucks it had to happen on a play like that... GL this week

1. Steve Spurrier thank you for taking the safety with 4 seconds left instead of just tossing the ball as far down the field as possible to run the clock out. I understand the play but in the words of ESPN..."Come on Man" haha - This play caused my to lose a 5 team parlay, by a half point lol... I have never been so furious in all my life.
2. USC what do you do now??? - Don't matter really.... They were sucking all throughout the game with him in it. When you struggle against Miss St. then you suck. Plain, and simple... The loss of 21 can't help though. Georgia wins the East...
3. Auburn continues to surprise and Florida continues to disappoint. - What is surprising about Auburn? That was a TERRIBLE game, and the only reason they won, was because of how diminished, young, and just bad Florida is right now. Auburn has a horrific defense, and predictable offense. They will get crushed against LSU, and Alabama...
4. Clint Mosley looks like Auburn's new QB. - They still suck.
5. Bama and LSU are machines that can't be stopped -
Hopefully going to get things back on track this weekend. Good luck to everyone this week. -

For one, the fact that they have won 5 games so far. So Auburn only won because UF did not have their starting QB? Is that why Bama blew them out too? Young?! Auburn is just as young, if not younger than UF. Auburn SRs 15, JRs 17, SOPHs 19, FRs 56. UF SRs 17, JRs 16, SOPHs 37, FRs 34. (https://content.usatoday.com/sportsdata/football/ncaaf/Florida/roster) The AU D has made huge improvements in the past 2 games. Are they great? No, hell no. But they are not "horrific". The O, yea, I'll give you the predictible part. Crushed by LSU and Bama? I disagree. Win? Probably not, but i douby Auburn will be "crushed" in either game.

Tappy - the surprising thing is Auburn is 5-2. I have a lot of friends who graduated from Alabama who sound a lot like you. Auburn is garbage, terrible football team, and what not. I do not think they are a very good football team myself, but ask yourself did you think Auburn would be 5-2 after 7 games this season? I don't expect them to beat LSU or Alabama. They should beat Ol Miss and Samford, and will have a shot to beat Georgia. Worst case senario they should finish the season at 7-5. You can't tell me you honestly thought auburn would win more than 5 at the beginning of the season.

Well the reason I say it, is because of the fact that I watch them week in, and week out. I have watched them play, and despite their record, they are just a terrible team to watch. Utah St should have beat them, which is a joke... There were 14 punts in the SC game, and 12 in the Florida game, and 8 turn over on downs. Those were two of the most ridiculous, boring games in college football. That is the point I'm trying to make, and it has nothing to do with me just hating this team.
You make a point with their record, and I do not see them beating Georgia at all... I see GA winning that one by DD... And I do not consider 7-5 to be a good season, the year after a team wins then national championship.
