I cannot even begin to comprehend or explain this absurd line, but just unloaded half my bankroll on it. South Florida AT Houston, with Houston only a -14.5 dog. Good God, Houston should win this game 52-3. If Houston plays the worst game they play all year, they win by 28. If they play "rock, paper, scissors" to see who gets the ball, they win by 28. If the entire team pulls an all nighter at a local strip club and consume multiple tequila shots, they win by 28.
Houston just blew out the Scarlet Nights on the road, ruining Rutgers homecoming. The week before, they put up 46 on a good BYU defense. USF has NO OFFENSE. None. When was the last time they scored a TD? If I am not mistaken the two games they won was without an offensive TD! They made me a nice chunk in a 2 team teaser yesterday of Louiville -13.5; wake forest +32. (How funny was it to have wake forest at +32). Compare that to HOUSTON, who has scored in EVERY QUARTER THIS YEAR!
I don't use stupid words like LOCK and POY, etc. But this is as close as it gets.
MARK MY WORDS: THIS LINE IS GOING TO GET POUNDED INTO OBLIVION!!!

Wow, did you hammer that? It will be interesting to see where this line winds-up. IMHO, this is one of those "don't overthink it" games, and I see Houston getting pounded until -17.5 and maybe even -20.
If I lose, I lose. Houston has been an offensive juggernaut the last couple of weeks, and USF is just pathethic offensively. Houston may be up by 14 after the 1st qtr. I normally hate these big spreads, but they don't bother me as much when the opponent is a horrible offensive team that may not be able to score against the scout team defense.

How can you not kick behind in these Thursday night. They are pissed they did not get a single vote in the Top 25. The kids see this prime time game as there chance to show what they are all about. There motto is "S2P". Something to prove!

Hey guys I am a big USF fan and I just wanted to let you know that the spread is what it is because the Bulls have a new QB that supposedly looks alot better in practice then the other guys, not like that is saying much. Eveld may be the worst QB in CFB statistically ever (not exagerating) and Bench (Transfer from Penn. St.) hurt his knee and really has not been great either way. They are playing Mike White and even if he stinks, it cannot get any worse then what we already have used. Plus Marcus Shaw (was a top 10 rusher before getting hurt) will be back. If I was making a play on this, I would take Houston but games with brand new freshman QB's always scare me.

Good points, and as a USF fan you may recall the best example of a stunning rookie win being BJ Daniels making his first start ever against Florida State in Tallahassee, and winning the damn thing! You are right that White cannot be any worse than Eveld or Bench, but I am generally unimpressed with the USF offense across the board. I've put a big chunk on this, so if it heads south, I'll so be it. When i see an opportunity I like, I pounce on it, and this is one of those games I like.
The USF Bulls have not scored a TD in 3 games....12 quarters of football! Shaw has played in most games, and USF is still the 111th ranked rushing offense in nation. Even if White and Shaw provide a spark, I don't see enough points here for them to cover. Maybe White comes out like the second coming of Aaron Rodgers and I am proven wrong, but that's why it's gambling. GL
