whatreally - snoop's reaction to my weekly boom boom challenge picks
adding
Texas -3 (hook)...expecting Horns to get boost from QB change..revenge spot for LY blowout in Austin...27-17
Ole Miss-Vandy under 48.5 (0.75u)...both defenses probably ahead of their offenses, tight low scoring series 37.4 ppg over five matchups since 2006...20-17
from online article containing list of margins of victory in the 758 college football regular-season games in 2010.
1-point margin-33; 2 pts.-18; 3 pts.-59; 4 pts.-23; 5 pts.-25; 6 pts.-23; 7 pts.-49; 8 pts.-18; 9 pts.-6; 10 pts.-21; 11 pts.-16; 12 pts.-10; 13 pts.-13; 14 pts.-44;15 pts.-11; 16 pts.-4; 17 pts.-25; 18 pts.-17; 19 pts.-8; 20 pts.-20; 21 pts.-30; 22 pts.-18; 23 pts.-9; 24 pts.-24; 25 pts.-12; 26 pts.-8; 27 pts.-16; 28 pts.-17; 29

1; 72 pts.-1. As could be expected, the multiples of 3 and 7 were the most frequent margins of victory (with 3 and 7 rating on top, as usual, in 2010). Even so, 3-point margins accounted for only 7.8% of all results last season, 7-point results at 6.5%. And those percentages decrease in games where the posted spreads
actually hover around 3 or 7.

As always NOS looking sharp!!! So the money makers this week without doubt are Michigan and Cincinnati right? I might get some of that Nevada and ucf.

all - appreciate it, BOL this week fellas
oahu - not much lean on that total, maybe slight lean to over 61 with both offenses playing decent and not great defenses, looking around 41-24 so not much margin of error there
TO9 - nice breakdown, looking at some of those same factors
bimbo - liking those about the same, not on Nevada although would probably lean that way, no lean on BSU-Toledo...going with small one on team total on the other
small degenerate play tonight.....Iowa St under 21 (team) from BM.....UConn defense solid and could give new QB some problems in first road start, huskies should be able to run the ball and clock

Hey Nos,
Cant get a good feel for the toledo boise game. I know toledo is a good mac team! But boise is elite. I had toledo week 1, for an easy cover, then couldnt pull the trigger on them against ohio state, should have. You said a play on the toledo total on team, i was thinking they score about 28. Is that enough to hang with the spread... boise would have to put up a minumum of 49, which is an easy over. In such situation how would you feel about a straight over and boise st. over parlay? Thnx bol
