Most people in these threads didn't play CFB at any level stan, but common sense for anyone is that he should tone it down, at LEAST when he is on National TV...I agree the kid fucked up a huge play, and was probably more the victim of Kelly's frustration with the whole day, and his team's red zone problems than just the one play, BUT kelly seems to do it too much IMO. Any "big time" CFB coach should have enough composure and class to at least wait until the locker room to unload like that.
Skip Holtz will be the next Irish coach....
Agree.....
Did all that yelling/Moaning work out with a W????

Mark Richt would be better.

Schembechler was documented as saying "i'm going to treat you all the same, like dogs" before he had coached one game for Michigan. Worked their asses to the bone during that first off-season, and started 3-2 if i'm not mistaken that year. Kelly was far more "successful" coming into his stint with the Irish than Schembechler was with UM. I'm not debating who was the better coach, but Bo had hardly earned the right to chew his players out through wins.

Bo won against undefeated and current national champ OSU his first year to seal the deal. Kelly is in his second season and has not done shit. You are right, he was more successful coming into his current job as Bo was not a head coach which is why Kelly should have been able to orchestrate something quicker at ND. His frustration is with himself not his players. His weakness as a leader shows.
