Torreny, I agree that Temple's offense is not built to play from behind. However, with the exception of Toledo, no team has scored more than 14 points on Temple's defense all season, and the Toledo game is the only Temple game that has exceeded the 47.5 point total that has been set for tonight's game.
Temple is playing with revenge in a critical conference game that will undoubtably determine the MAC East champion. I also think that Temple is the better team, and has faced tougher competition. The problem, as you pointed out, is they don't really have an explosive offense so I think it'll be a struggle for them to cover anything more than a FG. I still like the UNDER here, and would lean Temple @ -3.5, and would lean a lot harder at -3.

MrBogey...good point yea he may saw limited action because of it last game, under may be worth a shot hoping that he doesn't last the whole game.
Ngon...thanks for your input buddy.
Jimmy...I don't disagree with you my man. Temple hasn't yielded a lot of points, but they haven't faced many great offenses either. Ohio may not be quite as explosive as Toledo, but they do have a great quarterback, two good receivers and a solid running back. I think they will move the ball on Temple, but probably not enough to send the game over. GL tonight. I hope we both cash.

Sorry bro but you said Ohio has not allowed a 100 yard rusher all season? With about 4 minutes of research I found not one but two 100yd rushers! BUFF: Branden Oliver 34-179 BALLST: Jahwan Edwards 25-123
If you are going to continue to post and expect others to take what you say seriously please double check your facts before posting.

The coach and Pierce himself said that he was ready so I think it will be a no play for me. Good luck with your picks and like I said Torreny no hard feelings...

@Mr. Bogey, I think you should recognize what the kid is saying, Torreny3 may not have said it as eloquently as he usually does, but dude is saying that Temple lost to a lackluster BG last week and their running back was ineffective despite his production. He only got 17 carries for a reason my friend.
Not only that but Torreny is a very reputable capper.
@torreny3
One thing you missed bro is that one of those 2 DTs will probably be back tonight and Ohio gets its most athletic corner back tonight off injury.

Analysis: There's
really not all that much we need to convince us tonight that Temple is
going to come out with another big road win. While both teams are 5-3,
it's been fairly obvious that the Owls are the better team.
First,
let's consider that Temple went to Maryland and beat the Terps by 31.
Ohio's only road game at a BCS school was a 12 point loss at Rutgers.
Secondly,
we'll notice the two common opponents, Ball State and Buffalo. Ohio
couldn't defeat either of these schools even though they were favored
in both games. Temple on the other hand won both of their contests by a
combined score of 76-0. That's right, a big goose egg for two schools
that averaged better than 30 points per game in their games against
Ohio.
The Owls are looking for revenge for last seasons loss. They'll get it in a big way. Temple by double digits
------
How many free picks you ever won money off of? not saying its wrong, but its just seeming a lil too easy to back temple... why isnt the line 7?

10 yards below his average cannot be considered INEFFECTIVE IMO! Sure he had 17 carries a few less than average also.

This is waaay more concerning than splitting hairs about Pierce production!
If someone that makes a mistake like this is considered a "very reputable capper" then what does that say about this forum? Everyone makes mistakes buy to make a statement saying NO 100 YD rushers, and we find out otherwise, cmom bro that is undefendable in my book. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK FELLAS!!!

ON PAPER IT DOES LOOK LIKE TEMPLE SHOULD WIN BY DD, FISHY LINE IMO. AS OTHER GUYS HAVE SAID, UNDER LOOKS BETTER

Under does look better in a way I agree. But the problem is I think this game is a good play for the under, but just one of those that youre going to get fucked out of in the end.
Too many Under covers in a row on Temple games has caused this total to be the lowest in any Temple contest so far. I think Ohio will score 21 in the first half and temple should score 17 or more with their running game. Ohio wants this to be a quick game, I completely understand that Temple will run 30 times tonight IF THEY CAN, but I honestly think they wont be able to score TDs without passing the rock..
the over under is a true gamble tonight I guess is what Im saying, I dont see a solid way to handicap it with the 7 TEMPLE UNDERs in a row and the public slightly on the under.

Bogey...you're right man my fault, don't know how that got by me. GL man.
Pierce may say he's fine, but if he tweaks the hammy at all, his action may be limited. Furthermore, Ohio will stack the box in an effort to shut him down, because Temple's passing game is weak.

Temple OL Pat Boyle, listed as questionable, banged up front man who may not even play and banged up starting rb tells me +3.5 Ohio will be my play. These are two big factors to consider for a team that leans heavy on the run. Plus home field adv and Ohio seems to have their number.

We have another MAC game here on Wednesday night, and this figures to be a great game. Temple features the nation's second best defense, facing a high-powered Ohio offense lead by Tyler Tettleton, who has 17 TD's and 5 Ints on the season, along with two good receivers and a solid back. Toledo was able to move the ball through the air against Temple, and I think Ohio will as well. I don't think Ohio will score as easily as they do against most teams, but I think they will get their points. On the other side is Temple's extremely one-dimensional offense. They have one of the best running backs in the country in Bernard Pierce, though he has been slowed by a hamstring injury and was not that effective in his last game. They do have a good No. 2, but with Temple's 113th ranked passing game, Ohio will load the box and dare Temple to beat them through the air. If Temple can't move the ball on the ground, it will be a long night for the offense. Ohio does have two injuries on their d-line, but they have a great middle linebacker who is getting healthy, and they haven't allowed a 100-yard rusher all season. Also, Temple lost their starting left tackle last game, who will likely miss tonight's game at Ohio. I think Temple will have some success running, but not enough to match scores with Ohio's balanced attack. Ohio is also a very well-coached football team under Frank Solich. Tonight is the Bobcat Blackout game where Ohio will be rocking all-black uni's and black helmets. I think this gives them a little extra mojo tonight, in a huge conference game, where the home crowd will be rocking. Temple is first in the MAC East and Ohio is second, and Ohio has knocked off Temple the past two years under very similar circumstances. If Temple gets behind early, which they very well could with Ohio's talented offense, and has to abandon the running game, they could be in big trouble having to rely on their pedestrian passing game. Ohio takes the cake tonight. 27-20 Ohio.
GREAT CALL ON THE GAME T3, JUST WANTED TO COME BACK HERE AND COMPLIMENT YOU EVEN THO WE HAD A LIL DISCREPANCY ON STATS. BOL IN THE FUTURE BRO
