DUKE is obviously the better team period this year...only ''advantages'' for UNC being homecourt and need of a win....DUKE will still treat this rivalry game with the importance it deserves and take advantage of this struggling heels squad...

UNC is 10th in the ACC at defending the 3 pointer. Duke shoots 39% from 3... Do the math.... You guys are living on a prayer.... Hope you have a lot of finger nails tonight... You will need them
Nevermind, it wont be close enough to bite them....

I mostly agree that this may well be their National or at least in state championship this year, but I also think that we are entering that part of the season when the cream rises. Duke has more experience and I do not think they will not be ready to play this game. (be careful)

nothing except HCA?
Or puke is a real bad road team?
or what is Roys rec vs. the Rat since he came home to Chapel Hill?
It seems also everyone forgets how great the Heels played in their biggest home game this yr IMO so far vs. MSU?
Should they lose. 100%
But don't tell me its a done deal like all Pukies will.

All anybody had to do was watch both these teams play a game this year, say UNC vs. VA a couple weeks ago and take Duke vs. NC State.
It was obvious that UNC has a bunch of quitters and Roy Williams has tried everything in his power to get these role players to act like stars. VA reeled off something like 18 straight points, UNC couldn't do anything about it. Ellington going pro hurt Roy, he's admitted as much, as he doesn't have a guy who wants to step up and take the ball when they need a basket. Drew2 is garbage, he wouldn't start for any other ACC team, he can't penetrate and dish and that's what you have to do if UNC is going to take advantage of it's only talent on the court (Deon and Davis).
Duke got shitcanned by State, but they were making halfcourt shotclock garbage shots, refs were and+1ing every layup for State, but State was trying with all they had in em to win the game. Duke played lousy and still had a chance with a few minutes to go before that guard chucked one at halfcourt.
UNC can't stop 3s being rained in their eye, Duke will shoot 3s until they start dropping. UNC can't penetrate and dish, Duke plays solid help defense. UNC has a bunch of aloof role players, Duke has 3 bona fide stars who would fight each other to take the last shot of the game. Roy has all but given up on this team, he'll do everything he can to keep this one from getting away from him, but any team that gives up 18-0 runs at home and has zero confidence is not going to get my money on a bet.
Duke has weaknesses, and they've sucked on the road this year. But Duke will give 100% tonight, and UNC has yet to show me that they're even capable of that. 100% of Duke is > any % of UNC this year. Doesn't matter when or where or who the refs are. You can't and+1 every shot when UNC turns it over 20 times and doesn't even get to shoot.

over or under? We know Duke can shoot the 3 pointer, and UNC doesn't defend it...Duke is coming off a game where they struggled to score, but can UNC handle Duke's defense? We know they will play fast, but will Duke run with them or try to keep the tempo a bit slower.
Thoughts on the total tonight?
