Attention Curry: You're down by 2 not 3. And then you give it up after launching shots all year??????
He's a great kid. Can shoot the lights out. Has a ton of heart and it was a good story.
But the kid isn't a big time college basketball player. Tired of the talk that all the ACC schools missed him. They didn't miss on him. He would've been nothing more than a role player off the bench for most ACC or major conference teams.

How many times is a kid in that position? Are you kidding me? If that were you at that age you would have needed a diaper for the urine coming out when you had the ball in your hand.

he got trapped. it was a bad call on the play from the start. if he took a horrible shot instead of passing to an open teammate who got a decent look, he would have been criticized as well. curry should never have been the one to bring the ball up. coaching let down here.

I'm not bashing him just for the last play. And Davidson has a couple other really good players. Like I said, it made for a good story but he's just a pure shooter on a mid major team.

[Evidently you your post you never played basketball and thank goodness you are not a basketball scout.

I agree. I don't think it was because of the play at the end, I just think he'd be a role player for a team like UNC regardless. I love the kid's heart and attitude though.

29ppg vs. GT, UNC, Duke, Gonzaga, Wisconsin and Kansas.
it was a bad play but it wasn't as bad as webber's timeout or anything. it was obvious coach wanted to win it with a 3 but kansas did a good job double teaming him.

He's not just a push shooter. He took it to the basket plenty of times. He was excellent off the dribble, and was clutch when they needed him to be. Played good defense, and got some rebounds. Outplayed Brandon Rush, and every other guard in the tournament. Unreal for you to be knocking him.

they went for the win...he got trapped...nothing he can do about that except pass to the open guy who missed...unfortunate to see he didn't get to take the last shot of the game though

I didn't say he couldn't score. He launches a ton of shots. There's a big difference playing an entire year in a mid major league and a whole year in a rough and rugged major conference. Can't compare numbers.

Take a look at what he did with the supporting cast around him, minus the point guard. With some help down low, Davidson would be able to beat any team in the country.

he launches a lot of shots and makes a lot of shots. 49% FG (45% from 3pt)... unheard of from an outside shooter. anyone who says he has no talent is off their rocker.

This is nothing more than a Cinderella tournament feel good story. They got hot at the right time and made the most they could of their potential. But they're a mid major team. They lost to Charlotte, N.C. State and Western Michigan during the season.
Congrats for them making the tournament more exciting. I'll come back in 5 years and 1/2 of you won't even remember Curry's name.
